Ch 2.

Doctor came out from the ICU after instructing the nurse to keep a check on Riddhima's vitals. Sia,Daadi and Angre came near the Doctor to ask about Riddhima's health. Vansh stood a bit away from them,leaning on the pillar,looking at nowhere,but he could hear them.

"Doctor,Bhabhi kaisi hai??? Unhe hosh kab tak ayega?" Angre asked first.

"Dekhiye!!! Main jhoota dilasa nahi dunga!!! Shebis quite critical. Mrs. Raisinghania ke pure body mein zeher phhel chuka thha jab tak aaplog unhe leke aaye yahaan pe.. Abhi toh humne body se zeher ko flush out kardia hai,par abhi kuch kaha nahi jasakta!! 48 hours observation mein rahengi woh.. Aap log sirf Bhagwan se prarthna kijiye.. Kabhi kabhi dawaai se zyada duao ka asar zyada hota hai.." Doctor briefed them about Riddhima's condition.

Vansh heard every single word of what doctor said. He couldn't believe his ears. A sudden fear gripped his heart.. He couldn't breathe. Angre saw him walk out from the hospital. He also went behind his Boss.

Vansh was sitting in the hospital's garden,overlooking the small pond which had two beautiful swans,swimming with each other. His inner conscience was slowly killing him with guilt. He couldn't come to terms that Riddhima was poisoned and was about to die. He looked at his palms which was covered with her blood.

Angre stood behind his Boss. He could feel the turmoil his Boss was going through from. He needed to tell him the truth. He couldn't see his Boss and Bhabhi like this,suffering from inside.

"Boss!!! Aapse kuch kehna thha!!"

"Not now,Angre!!" Vansh said with a stern stare.

That was it.. Angre couldn't take it anymore. It was now or never.

"Oh really!!! Aapko lagta hai main chup rahunga!!! Aapka sach janna zaruri hai,Sir,kyunki inn sab mein Bhabhi ka koi haat nahi hai!!! Bhabhi ki koi galti nahi hai!!"

Vansh turned to look at him in shock. He couldn't believe his ears. Angre surely must have gone mad,Vansh thought.

"Tumhe pata bhi hai kya bol rahe ho tum? This cant be true!!" Vansh replied in shock.

"Yahi sach hai,Sir!! Yeh proofs dekhiye,sab aaine ki tarha saaf hojayega aapko!!" Angre handed him the proofs related to Riddhima.

Vansh closed his eyes in guilt as he saw the proofs regarding the innocence of Riddhima. He was wrong,all the while. He wronged her. In his fit of rage and revenge,he married her. He couldn't believe his wrong doings...

Vansh punched his hands on the walls,in anger. He was angry on himself. For not believing her,her words.. Here,to save his life,she drank the poison laced soft drink,planted by Kabir and Aaryan.

"Yeh maine kya kardia,Angre??? Mujhse itni bari bhool kaise hogayi?? Jab woh uthegi toh main uske saamne kya mooh leke jaunga???" Vansh spoke,his hands covered his shame stricken face.

"Aap chinta mat kariye,Sir. Abhi Bhabhi ko aapki zarurat hai!!" Angre consoled his Boss.

Scene changes to Hospital's ICU:

A pale Riddhima laid down on the bed. Uncountable wires were attached to her body connecting with the machines to check her vitals. She looked so white and thin. Her rosy pink lips bore a rough look and were still blue. Her soft hands bore a number of piercings due to IV saline drips.

Vansh looked at her from the small window of the ICU. The sight infront of him broke his heart into pieces. Tears trickled down automatically from his almond shaped eyes. She was in a medically induced coma ,so that her body starts to recover the energy,as doctors' suggested.

Her slowly opened the door and went inside,sitting beside her on the bedside chair. He held her icy cold hands and placed a sloppy kiss on her palms,leaving his lips to linger there.

"Laut aao,Sweetheart!" A teary Vansh pleaded.

"Tere jaane ka gham,
Aur na aane ka gham,
Phir zamaane ka gham,
Kya karein,
Raah dekhe nazar,
Raat bhar jaag kar,
Phir teri toh khabar na mile,
Bohut aayi gayi yaadein,
Magar iss bar, Tum hi aana,
Iraade phir se jaane ki,
Nahi laana, Tum hi aana.."

Daadi,Sia and Angre had tears in their seeing their Vansh like this. They couldn't see him like this,broken beyond repair. By that time,Angre told them the whole truth of Riddhima. They couldn't believe their ears. It was a shock for them.

Next morning,the hospital Mandir was decorated due to Ganesh Chaturthi. Daadi,Sia and Angre went to the Mandir and prayed for the safety of Riddhima.

Vansh went towards the Hospital Mandir. For the first time after so many years,he stepped inside the Mandir. A different kind of aura was felt by him. He joined his palms and pleaded to bring Riddhima back to life.

"Aap toh Vignaharta hai.. Aap apne baccho ke dukh nahi dekh paate ho,toh phir main hi kyun??? Mere dukh ka koi mol nahi hai??? Meri jaan bachane keliye Riddhima ne zeher pee liya aur aap aise hi baithe ho??? Har ek second keemti hai.. Maanta hu ki main aap pe vishwas nahi karta,par Riddhima toh karti hai na?? Aap usse toh bacha sakte ho na!!! Aap usse bachalo,Bappa!!! Maine usse bohut zyada dard diya hai!! Andar hi andar bohut ghutt raha hu!!! Main Riddhima se maafi mangna chahta hu,uss har ek dukh keliye jo maine usse diye hai!!! Mujhe mere galti ka ehsaas hogaya hai.. Bacha lo meri biwi ko!!! Yeh Vansh Raisinghania aapse apni biwi ki jaan ki bheek mangraha hai!!! Lauta do mujhe meri biwi ko!!! Lauta do usse!!" He slumped down infront of Bappa's idol and started crying..

"Meri Dehleez Se Hokar,
Bahaarein Jab Guzarti Hai,
Yahan Kya Dhup Kya Saawan,
Hawayein Bhi Barasti Hai,
Hume Puchhon Kya Hota Hai,
Bina Dil Ke Jiye Jaana,
Bahot Aayi Gayi Yaadein,
Magar Iss Baar Tum Hi Aana.."

Vansh went towards Riddhima's ICU. Holding her right hand softly,he fell asleep. After a few moments,he felt her fingers move. He raised his head and saw her battling to open her eyes. He lips were shaking vigorously. She clutched his hands tightly,digging her nails into his skin. He yelped but it was nothing compared to what he has given to her.

Doctors came to check her. Vansh was sent outside by the nurses. With worry etched on their faces,they waited outside for the doctors to come and update about her health.

Doctor came out and updates about Riddhima's health.

"Saans lene ki takleef horahi thhi,jiski wajah se convulsions horahe thhe... She is doing fine now.. Abhi unhe thora time lagega sab kuch samajhne mein,toh thora patience rakhiyega... And.. Congratulations,Mr. Raisinghania.. Aapki biwi maut ko maat deke laut aayi hai... Take care.." Doctor replied and shook hands with Vansh and left.

They heaved a sigh of relief as they thanked Bappa for saving Riddhima. Vansh was literally in tears and was sobbing like a little kid. Daadi went near him and took him in her motherly embrace.

Later on,except Vansh and Angre,Daadi and Sia went home to take rest and to prepare for Riddhima's arrival. Nurse was checking her vitals while Angre looked at his Boss,in concern.

He went near him and assured that she will be alright and will forgive him as well. Vansh had a small smile but soon it was replaced with anger.. He clenched his knuckles really tightly and asked Angre to catch the culprits really soon and bring them in the Mansion,itself. He also ordered him to call the Police,as well.

He went near the door and saw a pale Riddhima sleeping peacefully under the effect of medicines. He promised that he will punish the culprits really soon.
