I cringe too, but for different reasons.

Why do ITV makers give such mahaan dialogues to heroines? Do they actually think we women talk like this in real life?

I'd rather prefer quirky, honest comebacks like those of Anika from IB than this rishta, bharosa, nonsense of Riddhima.

Even the other day, that middle-class jaap during the kheer scene was so cringeworthy. TV serial makers need to learn subtlety.
