Sardesai is the same guy who tweeted Pranab Mukherjee sir has passed away few days back, only for Pranab sir's son to come out and say he was doing fine.

To me, the locksmith is the crux of the entire story of discovering SSR in his room. Granted, it could be that the locksmith exists and has been interviewed by the police and doesn't want to expose himself to the public (can't blame him for that really).

But I just can't believe, with the way the media is so doggedly on the trail of every potential witness in this case, that the locksmith has not been identified. It is very strange to me. Maybe if/when the CBI takes over, the statements taken by the Mumbai Police will become available and we'll know.
