I think it's the 90's mentality too.. and a lot of things that are still common in the subcontinent and naturally bollywood. They prefer to keep their affairs to themselves and don't bother to bring it to the public eye cuz of the fear of getting judged... but are happy to live in their euphoric world meanwhile.

That's the same mentality behind why they like to call each other "good friends" but nothing more than that. 😆 Except in HR's case, he thought he was too good to even appear to have anything to do with KR. Of course that's bound to piss her off like any self-respecting person.
