Anti-heroes/Grey characters have their own appeal. But its not that Kabir is entirely negative. He has shades of Grey too always giving the patriotic excuse.

Today also he repeated his Quote "Riddhima ne is Desh ke liye bahut bada Sacrifice kiya. She Deserves Happiness aur use woh khushi main dunga." Really Kabir? U leave your Love to fend for herself in the Ring of Fire & still proclaim your love.

Kabir's character does not get any brownie points here bcoz his entire secret agent act looks fake. The guy does not have the necessary clearance neither he gives the proper training to his Girlfriend cum spy Ridzi. He even does not raid VR's hideouts after that Gold Bust or get a search warrant for the fresh evidence.I have never seen such a weak secret agent.

Secret Agents are supposed to be charming with a professional attitude to their jobs. They are supposed to be smart & equally crafty to deal with a cunning adversary that too a Mafia like Vansh.Agents are known to make counter-moves & think ahead. In fact it looks like VR is the secret agent now.

Why is that spark missing from Kabir's character? We would love to see the battle of wits between VR & Kabir.Nobody always likes one-sided victory.

Its not about Screen Space always.Even short cameos also leaves desired impact. This happens both on Bollywood & the ITV Land.

Even Aangre seems to be more intelligent than Kabir. It was Aangre who caught that servant Mrs.D Souza today in VR's backyard.

Thanks for agreeing with me!

His grey shades under nationalist is not coming out well tbh. Maybe the characterisation is not good enough!

I just can't stand his justifications in the name of the nation. Dude u acted technically like a pimp and then justify it. Get a grip man!

Agree with you. You send a girl Who never participated in mission but at the same time , i think, that is plus point of Ridhima compared to any trained female police officer , which kabir saw. But ridhima make silly mistakes which leads clues to her.

Yes he is lacking big time as secret agent. Maybe who knows it might be kabir who turns out to be criminal all along!

I agree. If you have watched anime death not , where agent and anti hero has battle going on till 26th episode where one finally edges other out in battle of wits! Cv's need to do the same with VR and Kabir bevcause so far it is lop sided!

Silence of the lambs is the prime example where a gorified cameo stole the show and hopkins won best actor oscar! But kabir's character lacks the impact!

Hope PH keep the show like this 👏

obviously creatives will show Vansh n Riansh bcz audience loves to watch them n their scenes otherwise if they show Kabir more than audience will get bored waiting

Thanks !

Rrahul voice modulation is perfect. An actor who can express through his voice is considered as amazing!

Yup audience want Riansh! i hope trp rises!

It deserves prime time slot from 8 to 10 pm but it will also cause more pressure.

This week it is slot leaded with trp increase

But if it crosses 1.5 mark they might change it to primetime

Good post 👍

For me story and it’s execution is very important. I don’t ever think looks matter, give me a good story, and a strong character and if it’s executed well then the person could be anyone I will admire it. I like depth and I like shades. Jack Nicholson in The Shinning the best example.

I loved Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct, Tim Roth in Pulp Fiction, Jessica Chastain in Miss Sloane, and Matt Damon in The Departed. Very very shady roles but they executed it amazingly. The level of cunningness and doing what to them is fair is a treat to watch. Having said that, I also love watching a good guy catching the bad guy but it has to be done well. Tom Cruise as Jerry Macguire is iconic.

I think the character of Vansh is very nuanced and the actor executes it very well. I have never seen any of these actors in any other show so from a first time viewer I look for acting and depth of the role and unfortunately both Riddhima and Kabir are lacking it. Maybe they will be developed later but currently they are grating like anything.

Being a grey character is very hard to play as emotions and actions matter and I like how the actor emotes. I cannot and will not like a character because of an actor - EVER!!!! Never done it and will not do it. I hated Sharon Stone in many of her other roles and same with many others whom are my favourite actors.
I know it’s early days so let’s see but one thing is sure - Kabir is never going to be in my best list. Any man who sends a woman to fight his battle will never be in my good books.

Thank you 🙏

Oh yes that’s iconic role of all icons. I mean Sir Anthony Hopkins owned it. He had seven scenes but they are all I could think and he did it better than the book. Ironically, didn’t like the other two versions though.
