It's kind of sad how ridiculous the so called movement has become..

People tweeting for CBI for SSR = good/brave/gutsy people

People not tweeting for CBI for SSR = bad/ coward/ people

I never expected SSR's death mystery to be so convoluted.. at the same time, I did not expect his family's demand for justice too to become a mockery like one of those challenges the celebs used to throw each other such as the sui dhaga challenge or the pad challenge..

Amidst all this drama, the only hope is that the family gets the answers and justice they are looking for

Just as I predicted...the people that had public support eg Ankita, Kriti are appreciated for their actions and the ones that don't (Varun, Pari, Sanjana, etc) are being called fake for the very same actions. It's essentially just a game of who you like and don't at this point otherwise everyone would be using the same moralities for all.

In every movement against powerful people like this one (Maharashtra government had to be against a CBI for a reason. And they said we trust Mumbai police who didn't even file a FIR, which is mandatory before any investigation and declared it a suicide, which is against policy rules. They didn't even wait for post mortem.) Even during #metoo women were speaking up against a powerful establishment risking their careers. So yes, it is rightly called bravery. Same thing during civil rights. People were beaten and killed for speaking up. Were those movements considered mockeries? I don't get you point. That is not unusual. I get it you don't want the hypocrisy of silent criminal supporters called out. But what is wrong with complementing those brave enough to speak up?

Color me shocked that you did not get my point

This placard thing, unless done people close to Sushant doesn't mean a thing.. Its mostly not coming from a genuine intention but more to avoid public backlash and trolling.. when practically the whole social media/ keyboard warriors are going in the same direction, there is no bravery in holding a placard on social media.. this is walking with the tide which does not require bravery but basic intelligence

Lastly, don't even think for a moment you get why I don't support this idiotic call for public tweeting by Bollywood celebs because you clearly don't.

Sigh. I guess this is gonna be like round 16883

@bold : seriously. You should be close to the victim if you hold a placard for seeking justice? I never knew this rule

How is Kareena, Swara, Sonam related to the victim of KATHUA CASE, that they held placard for her?

So you want to say Sonam, Swara , Kareena didn't do that out of genuine concern, but it was part of their propaganda 😉

Please enlighten me.

You are seeking enlightenment from the wrong place but sure let's try

No.. none of the Bollywood celebs holding a placard for anything means anything.. not even if my favorite actor does it.. because they don't do it because they believe in it.. they do it to ride with the tide..

Whether it is Kareena, Swara, Salman or Shahrukh, holding placards is always to appear woke and part of the crowd.. to let the public know, see we are with you fighting for what you believe in, please support us and our movies

Truth? BW people have influences.. if they cared enough about the case, this one or anyone, they can shift media attention to it instantly..but they wait... Always wait for media to focus on any hot topic and then come out in support of it.. that's how it has always happened and this one is no different

2 of Top comments of this topic is dragging Deepika for something she hasn’t even done yet in a topic about Varun. I call that severe obsession 😆😆😆

It’s never about Sushant and it will never be. Most people here want to settle scores about celebrities they do not like.

They ask why they are not speaking up but in reality they don’t really want them to speak up so they can drag them.

Poor Sushant

Plus instead of asking why celebrities do not speak up during major controversy, ask yourself why we have created such a toxic environment that speaking out might cost one’s life and career. You should get mad at the system not the people.
