Agree. You shouldn’t be talking about a movie that you haven’t watched.

I liked the movie.

Story treatment was light, crisp and to the point. Made the movie enjoyable.

I didn’t feel IAF was shown in negative. Gunjan was First Lady officer and it was 1990s. Without a doubt she would have faced difficulties. If there was a hard crack officer then there was also the one who saw her potential and gave her chances.

Pankaj Tripathi was the star. “Pinjra tod ke ud jana hai” was the best dialogue!

That phone conversation between him and Gunjan before she goes to Kargil was highlight. Jahnvi did well there.

For the rest of the movie, she was ok. Did not disappoint neither stood out. But good effort. Didn’t stick out like sore thumb in the cast. Her subtle scenes were nice. Though she felt low of energy at some Places.

Overall a nice experience. This is how a biopic should be. Not too over dramatic neither caricaturish. Very well balanced direction! Kudos to the entire team!

A very inspiring story...hats off to the real Gunjan Saxena...Jahnvi was a bit dull especially in the heavy scenes...dialogue delivery was bad...

But the movie was good..enjoyable...direction is good...pankaj tripathi was awesome as always...

Now she says this. As far as I know, she was present on the sets when the movie was being shot. Now that IAF has expressed their displeasure, she has talked about over dramatization in the movie.

Saw the movie. Liked it.Shed tears in a couple of scenes.

This would have definitely done well in the theatres.

Some moments were really poignant. Some, over dramatized.

I see why IAF would take offense to the movie. It's obviously sensationalized . But the movie hits you at the right spot. There's a warm and honest feel to it.

Also impressive that they didn't feel the need to add any romantic male lead . Thank God for that.

I could watch Pankaj Tripathi act for the rest of my life. Such effortless acting and inherent charm❤️

Janhvi has improved a lot from Dhadak. You get distracted a few times looking at her face, but she's got screen presence . Ofcourse, she needs to improve on her diction and put in more fire in her expressions. But she's wasn't bad at all. I see her as a hard worker.Who would have thought that Sara would be terrible in her next movies after kedarnath, and janhvi's graph would go up.

Also liked the photos and memoirs of the real Gunjan Saxena in the end rolls. Need to read up more about her.

Watched it with my parents.

Pankaj thripathi was the star of this movie. He carried this movie on his shoulders. He was the best thing about this movie. So endearing to watch him. Even my dad couldn't stop praising him.

Jahnavi was the weakest link. She had the same blank/poker face expression through out the whole movie. It pissed me of few times. There were so many highpoints in the movie that she ruined because of her stiffness. I could FEEL her stiffness in some scenes... It was so bad. Even my dad was like "isme itna dum nahi hai" The night party confrontation scene after the "arm wrestling" would've been epic to watch if a good actress had done this movie.

People that are saying that she was decent or atleast she tried are just kidding themselves.. That blank face was not decent acting.

Literally everyone other than jahnvi did an amazing job... I think that's the main reason why jahanvi came of so bad cause she was surrounded by really good actors.

The story was good.... I totally recommend watching this atleast once. It shows how much women have to fight to get basic rights. Some scenes were thought provoking.

The war scenes looked very low budget though. I wanted to laugh at how easy they made the rescue mission look.

Also the movie was on the slower side but didn't bore me. I felt like they didn't have much to work with.

But yea, all I have to say is... A very good movie ruined by a bad actress.

And also this review has nothing to do with sushant or the nepotism debate. Jahnavi was bad period.

So happy to read all the praises for the Star of the movie Pankaj Tripathi. The way he literally carried the movie on his able shoulders deserves all these accolades and so much more.Like I already mentioned in my previous posts on this thread, I can watch an entire movie with him just being the dad of Gunjan and lifting her up with his inherent charm and composure and diehard support.
