Ranveer and Alia in Kjo's next romcom

Tbh its good that kjo is doing this instead of Takht for now, this genre is kjo's forte and he has done very well in it in his past films of the same genre.

Also, the article says Takht is not shelved, it will happen in the future with the same cast, they just can't film it right now coz of the difficulties caused by the pandemic

Aloo is a liability now. KJo wants to show his support to her but he's asking for a backlash again.

Every actor wanted to work with her a few months ago but I think that won't be the case now. She comes with too much baggage.

Kjo himself will get the backlash

Exactly how Kjo announced low budget rom com Badrinath ki Dulhania with same cast and kept insisting on how Shuddhi was not shelved just too massive n time taking😆 then eventually shelved it giving them Kalank as a compensation.

Kjo doesn't seem to have anything to produce a full fledged film on his own anymore. Anyway I hope this film gets announced ASAP can't wait to see what Kjo has in store after SOTY, ADHM.

He definitely will but casting Alia again will create even more problems. If he had a brain, he should have put someone like Tapsee or Kriti in his directorial this time.

Tbh everyone is getting bashed for some reason or another, kjo is getting bashed coz peope call him the father of nepotism, alia is a starkid and her dad is mahesh bhatt, ranveer gets bashed coz people are angry about him doing 1-2 films that supposedly sushant was offered.

I even see people bash varun, kiara, srk, katrina and the list goes on, people are just out to attack whoever they can. Deepika is still getting bashed for the JNU thing. But that doesn't mean the stars should now hide and walk away from the industry, they have every right to work

But the backlash for others is pretty mild in comparison to KJo and Alia. Alia is seen as the queen of nepotism and now everyone hates her for being a Bhatt also. Her acting is also getting worse. People disliked the trailer of Sadak mainly for Sushant but let's be honest, it was bad in quality too. Alia is showing more and more that she's not a good actress out of her comfort zone - she was awful in Kalank and looking bad in Sadak too.

If he got Kriti or Tapsee or someone like that, there would be less hate. Or he can introduce a new girl. Make a big fuss about finding someone new - put out advertisements for anyone that wants to audition. Do some media hype about how Dharma is looking for an outsider. People would give it a chance then. There is nothing to gain from Alia now.

In the right film and direction alia acts very well, i think sadak 2 and kalank are examples of weak direction and script, which also doesnt help her acting. Alia generally does well in romcoms so I think she'll be good in this if it's actually getting made

I think after sadak 2 alia won't have a film release for a while, brahmastra isn't finished yet and kjo's film will most likely start next year, so this break will be good for her and the audience, and hopefully she can come back stronger. Tbh she really needs a break after all that has been happening

Face saving😆Takht is done and dusted. I don't think it will ever be made. These 2 are the biggest actors associated with the project who must have blocked bulk dates. So make something else for timepass with them.
