Ya just one week before dey started promotion when before it was said it will come back at original time because it was last minute decision. Do u think muder mystery is 9 pm audience track? What u r facing in YHC we huv faced from last one year. Neither channel nor dkp promoted d show even though it was top 2 of d channel, slot leader, in top 10 .Our trp increased with out any promotion from either of them n if we start saying abt dkp bias behavior I huv to write a long essay better to leave it .

I don’t wanna talk about YHC here because it is not what I wanted to convey. About tracks, that is chosen by PH mainly.

Time a lot change is not gonna happen. Promotions are the only way to go. Why will they shift Anupama from a slot where it is getting so much of ratings? There is no guarantee that it would do as well at 9pm. So no slot change.

The parent show has a fixed 9 30 time slot. Plus it is SP's flagship show. Come rain or shine SP aint messing with it.

Sometimes I do not understand why the PS is brought into and mentioned in every single discussion about YRHPK.

It is a spinoff of mothership show....that's it. Considering even Mishti's BFF hasn't met her husband...the kind of husband he wished she would get; it is clear that they are treated as separate shows. Lets not go into why that show is adored by the PH so much. That is a discussion for another place and time.

Respectfully asking just to leave it be. It has its destiny and this show has its destiny.

In YRHPK case, slot changed from good slot to better slot. 9pm is super prime time for TV. So drop on TRP is not due to slot but due to competition. A good show is one which eliminates its competition.

When KKB launches, Diya Aur Baati Hum was an established show at 9pm. But still KKB managed to beat it. So yeah, one can’t simply blame the channel. The show should be able to garner audience which it isn’t able to do.

Agreed. Slot is no issue in this case as getting super prime slot itself is acknowledgement of channel confidence in this show and thats itself achievement. RS should be proud to owning 9 to 10 slots on SP..

After MB, I was excited to see Shaheer on screen then got to know he moved to indo. Now after highly successful MB rerun, probably channel thought same way to put established star cast and serial into prime slot than new one.

It moved to 10th place in UK ratings and online also reduced so its PH resposibility to promote and come up with tracks which can put them back chart. Looks very challenging as ratings hit lowest at these challenging times.

RS completely favors the parent show because it’s his longest running show so it’s like his favorite child. And Anupama is his mother’s pet project so he moved it to YRHPK’s time slot which is the 2nd best slot. Such step motherly treatment towards our show is not good but we can’t change that. The only thing Indian fans of our show can do is watch it on TV to give it trps. We fans abroad have to watch on Hotstar since we don’t have SP, plus we don’t contribute to TRPs.

Let’s be a honest. A show has to work no matter what the slot is. So yeah the show and PH have to step up for the task. No one said beating KKB is gonna be easy. So the CVs have to think of some way of doing that. Otherwise, samaj lo ki yeh show kuch hi din ka mehmaan hai.

No point blaming Anupamaa or slot change.

Our show is still far superior to these other TRP toppers in terms of performances, characterizations and continuity! I have watched many of those other shows and frankly cannot fathom how people can watch them, they’re quite unbearable! And you have to admit, slot change does affect TRPs. Indian families generally have late dinner around 9 pm so that slot isn’t as great for them as 10 pm after-dinner relax and watch TV.

TV promotions also help which DKP and SP isn’t reportedly doing. However I don’t think SP will pull this show off and that’s because it’s topping online TRPs and also SP has a good equation with Shaheer because of Mahabharata rerun’s popularity.

Disagree. 9pm is a better slot than 10pm. For StarPlus though, 9:30 pm-11:30pm slot has been stronger because of intense competition at 9pm. They wanted to change that and that’s why they moved YRHPK to 9pm but it doesn’t seem to be working.

These online TRPs are a big joke and sham. YRHPK has mostly been at No.5-10 on Hotstar (which arranges shows based on viewership). So yeah even if we are talking about online viewership, shows like YRKKH and KZK are war ahead mostly. Anyway Hotstar viewership is very low compared to TV. Even a 1.1 TRP on TV would mean much more viewers than being No.1 on Hotstar.
