If star axes a show with a TRP of 1.1 then it has to also consider axing shows with TRP of 1.2 or 1.3. I mean never have i seen a star plus show with TRPs below 2.

As far as current TRPs go...i personally do not like this track and I have only been tolerating it for 1. Sha and his amazing acting. He is so good. 2. RheSha and their chemistry which is still there despite there not being enough scenes where it is utilised coz of whatever reasons. So if I, an SS fangirl is watching for him then TRP aunties who just watch for story and not for fangirling or out of loyalty will not watch. Simple as that.

Try a different track PH and SP . ..that's all....

We as a fan will definitely want many things for d show but knowing SP dey won't wait to axe d show when trp suffer. Colors n zee at least give their show chance to revive. Color's shakti went down to 1.2 from there it again revive because colors gave dem dat chance same cannot be said abt stars. Knowing d present job condition I would never want any one to loose job. More dan main actors in a show d side actors n crew will suffer d most if any show goes off air.

Regarding story from last Friday onwards d episodes r improving n writing, screen play has also improved dis track is getting interesting but I know it's not trp audience track. I watch all d SP shows on &off so I fairly huv idea regarding other show. In all d star plus show at least dis week writing of our show was d best rest we will see in d future .Most probably to revive d trp dey will go for separation of d lead as dis usually give trp. It also depends on d revenue dis show is collecting from hotstar. If it's good, star will give a chance n dis show is also doing good oversea.

Fingers crossed for the coming weeks.

Maybe they should assess what works well for KKB in that slot and put a show in similar taste to compete against it because the set of audience that consistently prefers to watch KKB would be different from the set of audience that likes and appreciate a YRHPK. There would never actually be a level playing field there with KKB being an old show with loyal audience.

I remember following this show called Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai on StarPlus. It was one of the better thrillers that I had seen but couldn't score high on numbers (it was up against Naagin on weekends) The show was then replaced by Aarambh which was helmed by the writers of Bahubali and turned out that Aarambh fared even poorer than KLKAH. I guess from then onwards SP dropped the idea of going with Weekend specific shows and now their dailies air for 6 Days a week.

What am trying to say is that even a new show would necessarily do well at that slot, there is no guarantee since every show cannot be Anupama.

Nonetheless such things tend to be very unpredictable and tricky. Hope YRHPK does well in the coming weeks.

Wish they had shifted the parent show to 9 n given its slot to Anupamaa ,as is the PS is going strong for so long, sure it would have sustained the time slot change.This way we would have been spared this tension

Slot matters too. Usually the expectation is high for 9pm. At least slot leadership is necessary for survival in StarPlus.

When dey changed YHM from 11to 7.30 dat time even repeat used to der n 11pm trp used to be given out.

If dey would huv changed d slot when d show was continuously running dat would be different but when der is a break of almost 3 month n shows with original time also suffering Dan what made them think dat YRPHK with Time slot change will not suffer n I am sure it was last minute decision n track was written with 10pm slot nly.

When Yhm slot was changed it also suffered from 2.7 dey went 1.4.

That’s because it went from a good slot to a very late night slot. Back then 10:30 slot used to only bring .7ish ratings. Remember Dil Sambhal Ja Zara? That show was axed due to 0.7 TRP at that slot. So yeah TRP reduced but that was because of slot.

In YRHPK case, slot changed from good slot to better slot. 9pm is super prime time for TV. So drop on TRP is not due to slot but due to competition. A good show is one which eliminates its competition.

When KKB launches, Diya Aur Baati Hum was an established show at 9pm. But still KKB managed to beat it. So yeah, one can’t simply blame the channel. The show should be able to garner audience which it isn’t able to do.

11 pm is anyway not a great slot by itself. Why do you think YHM was such an unexpected success? It beat YRKKH despite airing at 11 pm. So yeah let’s not get into the ratings of YHM. Everyone would agree that the show was a blockbuster for the channel. No wonder it has a spin off running now.

I know YHM is a blockbuster show I am telling dey had proper plan before changing d time slot knowing what story would work at what time not like YRPHK dat was sudden , before one week suddenly dey decide to change it. YRPHK with no promotion from either production house n channel had beaten kkb before also, Had increase in trp when world cup was going on n dan had bigg boss competition. Yet able to sustain d constant trp.If dey had known before dey could huv come up with other track. Plus three months break is also der.I am not telling dat at 10pm dey would huv got back their constant trp but at least could have better trp dan d present

The channel did promote the slot change and the show itself. Don’t say no promotions. If there is a show that was hardly promoted at all it is YHC only. So they did their bit imo.
