I think the problem might be that due to all of this drama, Trilok had missed the operation, cause Kalyani said that it is getting quite late in the precap. So because Trilok missed the operation, the operation failed and Pillu could not be saved.

This can b used as a major point. May b someone else will do that and save Moksh but Kalma will not b aware of.. It will resurface again
