This is tough. I like both of them. 😭

DCH..it’s a cult classic n my fav BW movie.

Never got the hype around Wake up Sid.

The director of Wake Up Sid, Ayan Mukherji, himself was heavily inspired by Dil Chahta Hai. He really loves that film. But I do think that WUS and Dil Chahta Hai are two different films which don't have much scope of comparison.

Perhaps Saif's character and Ranbir's character share similarities. That's about it really. 🤔

I LOVE WUS but DCH for its completeness. In the sense, it makes me cry and laugh and more. The music is more all rounded and the movie was quite ahead of its times.

Dil Chahta hai >>>> wake up sid. I mean there is only one DCH where as more than half of RK’s filmography is WUS. Not that I mind every other RK movie is a coming of age one.

The movie is a Trendsetter.

though I love both movies, for me Wake Up Sid is a more personal experience as I could relate to Sid in some ways and Aisha in others. In that sense, I feel drawn to both the characters.

DCH is a trendsetter, no doubt, and a cult movie.

But WUS is a feeling, not a movie❤️
