WFH led to unneccessarily loud Prerna and work from sets led to unneccessarily childish Prerna. What's the point even. To me, she was intolerable acting this kiddish with Anurag and it's the same with new Bajaj. Point is shoot ghar se ho ya sets se, akele ho ya sabke sath she will be consistent in giving expression that never match the situation. Match the following 'expressions' with her 'dialogues and scenes' is still the game I need to play while watching her

Sometimes I feel she could have been a good replacement for Sneha if they had killed Prerna.

I can't say if Prerna is only lost because of writing because it also gives me a vibe that even the actress is bored of character (she always looked bored). Sometimes bad writing bhi chhup.sakti hai with good acting and vice a versa. But Prerna ka to dono department hi problematic hai. Iske liye she is so hard to connect.

As far as age is concerned I am in suspense till date ye sab char ki age kya hai. If she 30 now as you mentioned that means she had Sneha at an age of 22 years back. Kaun zamane ke log hai ye? She was marrying Anurag and then married Bajaj when she was 21? To MBA ka 20 years mein complete ho gaya? See kitna jhol hai is show mein. Kuch bhi chal rha hai
