Colors had gave 2 weeks of ultimatum to PB. In 2 weeks if trps increase it will stay or will be axed.

By seeing this news, one thing is now clear that channel wants only TRP. Even if Pavithra bhagya is Ekta's show, channel gave ultimatum to them also because of low TRP.

I feel TRP is actually important right now. Trp brings money which helps the artists to boost their energy. See Colors didnt do any thing with Naati Pinky and Shubhaarambh yet but only with PB because logically it has the worst trps. Not a single Ekta show received such low ratings in any period. So i feel channel is doing right here. Although this channel took many many wrong decisions but this time they are correct. One thing i am happy that got cleared is that money and power always dont speak. 😛

TBH, it’s unfair imo. They show is just 30 episodes old. This lockdown has affected all shows. Channel should make a little more efforts. If TRP doesn’t improve even after a month, then maybe they can axe the show.

IMO it would have been unfair if the show had good trps but still it was axed. But the show had no potential from beginning. It was written and launched in hurry. The actors were great no doubt but if story is not upto the mark, its better to shut the show. Artists will come back with new and more better projects. Also the had aired 17 episodes before lockdown still it had 1 trp. The show never went above 1 so we cannot expect it to stay longer.

That’s subjective. I don’t watch the show so can’t comment about it. It’s just about giving a show you commissioned a fair chance. That’s all.
