Bani hated preeta because of Prithvi. Kareena always hated preeta,she just needed reasons to expose her. Kareena showed pure hatred when she got alimony papers from preeta I guess? Showing,she was indeed a gold digger. But yeah the Prithvi angle is confusing.

I guess ye makers ke nazron mei zaroori tha kyunke they wanted to really hit the point that Preeta was faithful to her relationship with Prithvi. Uske taraf se agar kisi ke liye koyi feelings thi bhi tab bhi wo apne sagai ko nibhaane wali thi. Even more importantly na hi Rishabh aur na hi Karan Prithvi ke khilaaf kuch bhi saabit kar paye the. After a failed engagement with Deepak, she just didn't want another failed engagement based on trust issues. Kyunke ye baat toh fact hai ke Preeta ke apne life partner se expectations sirf respect and understanding tak hi limited thi. And Prithvi was definitely outwardly respectful towards her.

on one side preeta is faithful to everyone. on the other side karan is neither faithful to preeta nor mahira. he is basically using mahira to torture preeta.

Even though Karan's character is very annoying. Must say dheeraj's acting is fabulous. Especially in today's episode!!!

First of all, the way Preeta screamed at Karan and told him to shut up?? GIRL, this is what we want from you! Not only that, she taunted him claiming that he’s told her over 500 times that he has ‘something’ going on with Mahira and that they’re marrying and bla bla bla.

The way Karan pins her to the wall when she’s about to leave, mate you’re obsessed with her ✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼

In fact, it reminded me of a scene last year just before Preeta’s wedding track when she came to meet Mahesh in his room and give an invitation to her wedding. She shut Karan up in a similar way and claimed that she won’t listen to any of his taunts and the whole stopping her from leaving and falling in his arms thing... it’s a sort of glow up.

We can reach the conclusion that he wants her to stop the wedding. He definitely does.
