Finally listened to this. The music is beautiful. Extremely soothing. And Yasser is indeed excellent, especially in comparison and Neha falls short of expectations. I had really liked her live unplugged version. But now I wish somebody with more skills had done the female rendition. Neha can’t carry the depth required. The song nevertheless is surely going into my playlist. It is not a morning kickass song that would hammer me into work mood with multiple loop listening, but a back from work song. Very relaxing track. Rains, coffee, a book and Dil Ko Karaar Aaya ❤️

totally agree and somehow I feel we won’t get Sidnaz projects soon. So just watch it if we like it or drop it! No point asking producers, singers anymore

That part 👏🏽 at the end of the day, it’s SidNaaz who accept and reject projects. The ball is usually in their court. Anshul can’t forcefully cast them in a song nor can he forcefully cast them solo, ultimately the decision belongs to Sid and Sana in which offers they choose to take up.

Not gonna lie, but DKKA stung me a little because there were factors that made me believe this song could have easily been a SidNaaz MV.. but like you said in the end it’s up to those 2 on what they sign and announce.

Edit: A slow song is a real challenge for singers coz the attention then falls on their gayaki/ skillsets. Belting out fast songs doesn’t require much depth to be successful.

It’s not her kind of song. I don’t think it’s not because she didn’t give her best. Neha has sung in two pitches on the audio version- her base pitch is below par actually. The higher pitch is fine. But Yasser has done well.

Edit: A slow song is a real challenge for singers coz the attention then falls on their gayaki/ skillsets. Belting out fast songs doesn’t require much depth to be successful.

Her high pitch is on point, whereas lower one I couldnt connect to, but thankfully, it's for few secs onlt
