Fans wishing on death is slightly better than pushing people so much that they COMMIT SUICIDE N DIE for real. And then the same people shed crocodile tears and jump onto few 'fans' bashing and conveniently plays the Victim Card.

Don't want to sound insensitive but she went on to write how much her parents prayed for a son after she was born. Even though she mentioned they lost a male child first but still.

A male or female child shouldn't make a difference but for many it does that they pray for male kids more than female kids. A child is a child afterall.

That's how our society is and his family is a typical middle class one can't really blame the parents for wanting a son as even they grew up in that kind of environment.

Just to give them the benefit of doubt, perhaps they just wanted their first child to be back. Since it was a boy they lost they may have wanted another male child so they don't feel the vacuum of having lost their first child that much. You know a boy for a boy? Kind of like the first kid is back in their life in the same form.

I personally know a very liberal and broad-minded couple that had gone through something similar. They loved their daughters to death but after losing their firstborn who was an eleven-year-old boy, they just couldn't cope and wanted a male child badly just so that they could psychologically feel that their kid was back and the void would go away. It would have been the same had they lost a daughter.

@roni_berna: They may just have aspired for a boy. Despite being the only earning member, Sushant’s father gave the same level of education to all his children. His sisters are currently working as doctor, sports coach, lawyer and realtor. The sister who is sports coach was a national-level cricket player... so it doesn’t seem there were any restrictions based on gender.

His family knew of his condition but everyone was busy in their own life. But people love putting all the blame on “evil” girlfriends. Smh Sushant had clinical depression and couldn’t survive lockdown like many other around the world, it happens and is very unfortunate but blaming others is ridiculous.
