This is what I am saying . If this is in that era, if child marriage was normal why cannot Ani shift to her room? It has to be done. They cannot keep her mom. It was not acacceptable that time.

Kaka actually really loves Aniruddh and has seen how's he struggling to help Bondita. So many that melted him. That's such a cue for the future too. Kaka will let go of his traditions for Aniruddh when he'll want to educate Bondita. This track has been important one.

May be this is the build up of future where Bondita will get support from her kaka sasur too as how much traditional he may,ultimately Anirudh's happiness matter's him the most.And for his happiness Kaka can go to any extent and he has already accepted Bondita as his DIL from heart.
