Page 3 photographer charges start from 1 lakh. One of my batch-mates invited one for his reception coverage. If people cannot afford this, then do not waste your life in Mumbai. They should take any job instead.

What part of unless there are financial constraints did you miss?
When you become part of ab industry, you gotta adjust to the rules.. a good PR company, exposure, paps, portfolios are all part and parcel of a career in glamor world.. haven't you heard how many actors do small roles/ads for bills and to make their portfolios? Talent is undoubtedly important but so is exposure and this exposure comes from financial input.. Shahrukh once danced at an event just to get the cash flow to build the set for HNY climax..
None of these starkids would be papped if they didn't pay the paps.. you think anyone is interested in Malaika's gym outing or Sunny Leone with her kids? It's all money
You need investment to start any career. People either use their parents money or earn themselves before joining any big institute for degree. It is similar in bollywood too.

Viral and other paps have explained the pap process in innumerable interviews and posts. Seems like many of you need to go check them out. Publicists inform and call the paps close to movie releases or when there are other work related things like events etc. Contrary to popular opinion on here, a lot of the "personal" papping is actually more organic. The paps follow actors' cars around until they can get a clean shot. They know all their gyms, houses, etc and wait till they come there.
If it was just about paying to get clicked, why do you not see Radhika M or Bhumi getting clicked more? Both come from very well off families, they can afford all the PR, marketing, etc. It's not as simple as that. Media works off of what gets them the most engagement. Babies are cute, they attract eyeballs so paps try to click them even more.
Its like demand and supply chain. Media is interested in what audience demands. They push content after researching on trends on social media and search engines. This is how TV programmes and OTT content are created.

As for Taimur, he's an anomaly. It's a cute baby and people like cute babies.
Using him as a crutch to blame people of supporting nepotistic products is as dumb as it can get.
Agree
Most people get tired with depressive content of TV and internet. People like to watch babies and animals to relax their minds.

Who decides who is talented and who is talentless? or how do we decide that? This is not a universal thing . Its personal opinion. Though i agree with you but this a statement is very generic and hence depends on the definition of talent which is very subjective
Some may think Karthik Aryan is more talented than Ranbir and hence Ranbir getting big budget films over Karthik is unfair
Some may say no Ranbir is genuinely more talented hence he deserves these movies
For some Shradhha very talented and for some she is talentless star kid getting several opportunities
Same for Alia some think she is untalented and for some she is talented and hence she deserves her success
I mean the only universal metric can be box office success. If audience decides to watch an insider's movies again and again and not one but several of his/ her movies are a hit and outsider doesn't get the same doesn't it automatically mean that insider is more talented as he or she is able to bring in the audience? For example Alia, she has hardly had any flops most of her movies are hit or semi hit. She has been able to pull in the audience . So is she an untalented star kid? I mean definition of talent can be different for everyone. It means as long as one views the star kid as talented there is no issues if they are getting opportunity again and again which outsiders don't? It doesn't matter how they got their first movie or how they get their other moves easily as long as they are deemed to be talented?
Indian audience is really fickle minded. Many of them are average human beings who like to watch movies to break from monotonous life. Most people do not like real life or parallel cinema. I know someone who did a study on movie- goers habits. This is the reason why many dubbed South Indian movies get large number of advertisement while telecasted on TV. Rates are even higher for TV premiers.
Indian audience might be showing sympathy to SSR and outsiders right now. After few months same audience will praise any star kids and even drop loving messages on their social media.

But the point remains the same...how will an 'outsider' debutante from a middle class family afford pr and do kharcha like a Shanaya Kapoor or say Poonam Dhillon's daughter , Pashmina Roshan etc...all soon to debut heroines.
Beg borrow or steal.
Start from small prints ads, walk the ramp, do some modelling, attend events and parties for money and learn to network. Understand who is connected to whom. Date a rich person to use his contacts. Do anything to have enough money to establish ourself.
Most middle class families in India would not want their daughters to enter the gutters of bollywood.

If no one cares for Taimur, why on earth would the media accept to pay 'brokeass' Saifeena for something that no one cares about?😆
People love Taimur. He actually influences kids clothing. I have heard Taimur wale kapde dikhana in market once.

Coz with their money power they ensure to get familiar with the audience even before their debut. That was my point .
An average middle class person would find south Mumbai unaffordable with SOBO lifestyle. If you cannot afford the basic investment go home and pick up some another career.
