Its the only fun thing about this forum anymore..
Thugie Sach Mein itni mehnat kar raha hai and not even getting peanuts😆.
Like Ennuyi says - he gets loved by all and I think end of the day that matters.
Even though I'm left leaning, it's almost a must read to go through Ayn Rand's work (both The Fountainhead & Alas Shrugged). She was prataadit from Soviet communism, toh khulke communism ki bajayi hai. But it gave me a good perspective of the ideologies.
Would highly recommend Charles Dickens (Oliver Twist, Great Expectations, David Copperfield, A tale of two cities). I like reading about poverty. In that respect, I'd highly recommend the Hindi author Munshi Premchand (disclaimer: his works are left leaning). Another author I've loved is Saratchandra (I think he wrote in Bengali, but I've read his works translated in Hindi).
I've loved The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
LOTR I'm yet to see the movies, but gobbled up all three volumes, and would highly recommend!
The Animal Farm & The Time Machine are highly recommended!
I love The Odyssey, although I haven't fully completed it yet! Swords and sandals are my favorite!
I'm not including Indian mythological works, as I don't want to add my comments on them. But we have good stuff as well.
I'm sure I've missed many good ones, but these ones came to mind.
For quite some time I've not read any literary stuff, this reminds me... 😔
Thanks, will check them out. I loved Oliver twist. Who doesn't btw.
I saw this book, staying strong 365 days it's like a thought for each day. It's really good but it's suppa costly 1.8k n i dont think its worth it.

I have not read any of her books... This I came across on pintrest, it's more like a elaborated quote along with a gola tip for each day. So can't really say if she's a writer😆. I would love to buy that book but won't pay anything more than 299/399.
