Re: Randeep gif....haina? I used to be so floored by all their scenes....never thought they will remove his character so abruptly🥺....ah well. Glad he was there for Guneet however long the makers allowed it.

Rishi seems too arrogant a character to be a "sakhi" to Guneet....Randeep had a warmth and liveliness to him that Guneet connected to like a peer in a sense.

In the case of Rishi, he mostly seems to be giving gyaan to everyone....so he will likely just try to give gyaan to Amber and Guneet both. I don't really see him being anyone's "friend", but more like an advisor to guide people and make them reflect on their issues.

Now that he is gone ppl realize what a loss he truly is

I was a Randeep fan from day one and was so upset when they wrote him out

Rishi doesn’t have the same equation ...he was brought into the show with bad timing. They should have sorted the past 3 months first then intro a new character or better yet ...bring back Randeep

I find Rishi is just a grown up version of Randeep they r trying to push on Us

I wonder if Nia was a boy, would the audience be that critical of her and her actions. Granted she is not perfect and has several flaws but I find the language used to describe her character almost sexist ...which is irony in itself
Had she been a son with emotional issues and with girls around him, ppl probably would have been drooling over him and excusing his behr because he is an angry young man ...hmmm

I stand by the viewpoint that both Guneet and Nia crosses lines. For pple saying that Guneet was probably right about Ambers wife ...wow. You guys have an issue with Nia demeaning Guneet but no issues with Guneet demeaning a dead wife and mother ..well ok then

Where did you get that? What makes you think that if Nia was a boy people would have supported her? And and when exactly did Guneet demean Nia's dead mother? She just said she must have been a victim of Amber's disgusting behaviors? How is that demeaning her?

I agree that the language people are using about Nia is not a good thing. But here people are upset with Nia because she commented on Guneet's character and called her tow timer to support her father who is "Man". She pointed her finger on a women's character just support a man. What makes you think people would have supported that if she was a boy? Who is here supporting Amber or Anurag? People are supporting Guneet a woman whose self respect was hurt just because a girl is arrogant even after knowing what her father did to that woman.

And no arguments on Rishi. Time will his importance in the story. And I have full faith that #NiShi will rock.

Making any remarks about a girls dead mom is bad as it is but she insinuated that Nias mother was a helpless victim of some form of abuse ... that she wasn’t happy in her marriage. It’s demeaning to a daughter and a woman’s memory to make such false accusations...esp when that woman isn’t alive to defend herself and Nia already has few memories of her mom.

And I’m not absolving Nia of her behr but I feel that she is being needlessly dragged more than needed

The comments about her having all these ‘aashiqs’ is troubling as is. I get people want to see Amber and Guneet but their story can’t have 100% of screen time ...their story will run out in no time.

the show is meri dad ki dulhan ...aka Nias dad ...not Meri Dulhan. So it’s obvious the show will focus on both characters equally

And not that it’s worth it, but a clarification for the Nia protection squad in this thread - Nobody said this whole show needed to be about AG. But Nia’s storylines have been pathetic for a long time so she has lost audience connect and some of us have no interest in watching her bouncing between three guys. So sue us 🙄. This is a shitty storyline. All her so called Romantic interests have been shown in a flippant manner - so if people don’t like such shallow confused storylines, that makes them sexist? Wow 😆

Yeah please feel free to hate on us for preferring the mature nuanced story in this show 🤷‍♀️ To each their own.

All I did was lament on whether Nia was a guy would she have been treated differently. These comments about Nia being a brat, running around with aashiques is not warranted and the actress would probably not like reading all the nasty things about her character...Nia is not perfect but she has shown some genuine characteristics...her conversation with Kabir was amazing

To call someone comments pathetic etc ...that’s enabling discussion I guess ?
