Erica on shooting from home and EK's support

The actress shares that one has to be their own director, cameraman, sound recordist, light man, hairstylist, make-up person and spot boy when shooting from home and admits that it is not easy.....We do retakes only if the mood is not right or I fumble my lines - No wonder why EK is fine with shooting from home. With actors multitasking, it's cost effective and with less retakes is less time consuming. She knows TRP audience don't dissect everything about the episodes, whether it be the characters or the execution.

Erica is all praise for producer Ekta Kapoor, who treats her really well. “It wouldn’t have been hard for them to replace me, but they are cooperating and trying to find ways to make things work. Both the channel and Ekta have so much at stake and they are still being so considerate. So, I have been trying to give my best,” she says, adding that the last three episodes had her shooting from home. - Good to hear that not only EK, SP too is being considerate with her. 😊

Chalo, der aaye durust aaye! Pehle bhi suggest kiya hoga shayad work from home cast ke members ne, given that they were sceptical to come on sets from start itself. Tab nahi toh at least abh maan li unki baat production ne. I hope that they will continue to keep the safety of cast and crew in mind in future as well. All the best to the team!🙂

Its good they are supportive but the results coming from this work from home schedule of hers are just plain bad hope they realise that....the show quality whatever it is ...is suffering.

It's good they are supportive enuf..extend the same courtesy to the whole cast. Why should a few members take all the risk ?

Exactly its like her health is special but others shud risk it for the show 👎🏼

Good to hear that, but technology wise ITV is not equipped to make WFH look realistic onscreen ..

Technology wise kzk producers are lagging in editorial part, todays episode prernas voice in some parts were done by other dubbing artiste.

Can erica tone down a bit in her acting while WFH and expressions specially jaw moments.

Director should see the outcpme and ask for more retakes.

Its coming out too loud, she first need to getinto skin of character and act rather than thinking what will be other actors reaction is and how she need to reciprocate.

Actor can act even with wall too .. How singers sing by putting so much emotions it sounds like real..

Acting wise and technology wise last 2 episodes are just failures is ericas part.

Hope she gets herself tested and starts shootong with other casts and take more precautions than demanding for solo shots.

Bhai physical distance aur zyada maintain karo but saath shoot karo.

How those kauki & MoNI are shooting on sets.

Becareful and maintain distance.

Must see regional show what i am watching so well they are shooting without coming or standing at distance .. Camera angles have made it look like real.

If she thinks she is doing best, darling Erica .. you are NOT ..... your expressions are all over the place , absolutely loud and no sync with expressions, height(upar, neeche), direction (as in left/right etc) with your co-actors whatsoever .

there is absolutely nothing to flaunt about WFH as the scenes involving others on set, risking their lives, are brazenly brought down to pits because of these shots..

All, the creatives could have done is send Pre on business to London , and continue with just few phone calls ... whats the need of party with such heavy duty confrontational scenes, when the CVs and technicians can't execute it properly and dish out such eyesore episodes/shots

A serial conceived this way needs a lot of pre planning bec it's like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. You know better about acting etv bec u r watching 😆

She is anyway a limited actress in terms of her acting skill set for me and this work from home isnt working for her tbh and the tech team isnt able to blend her stuff well and the outcome is for all to see also she flaunting her privilege is weird really more like mockimg those who have to come to work and those who have been replaced bec they didnt want to come to work in the situation👎🏼
