How is Deepika a product of Nepotism? As far as I remember, she had her struggling modeling days , debuted in a regional movie, there were rumours that the mallya relationship was for being relevant in industry ( there were many topics even in IF mocking her for this ) and after first 3 movies when she had few flops her career went downhill until she delivered a noteworthy performance in cocktail. If she is in Karan camp now , not because she is a Padukone ,but she proved her worth with continuous profitable business and once she is irrelevant he will drop her like hotpotato which won't be case of nepo kids. In India, cricket is the only sport which is as glamorous and influential as Bollywood industry , but a successful or a celebrated cricketer like Dravid will have less influence in Bollywood than a cricketer from north. Prakash Padukone is definitely a celebrity but he can't lobby anyone in Bollywood to cast his daughter nor can any of the badminton ,tennis players or athlete from South .
