She may have burned a lot of bridges but she is also making new ones for herself and for others like her.

She still has movies coming, she has a production house and may enter direction soon, with this new Made In India wave, she may gain in that too with respect to endorsements as she has been a staunch believer in going local.

she has had a drastic change and I think the ridicule and when pushed to a corner because of the HR issue and nepotism issue, she was shunned and pressured to either leave or be boycotted. luckily, that was THE time she ht gold with her success at the BO and winning the national award and with that, she had a voice.

Now she could have gone 2 ways, either she would have succumbed and sucked up to the Bollywood mafia or chose to take them head-on and she decided on the latter.

It was after 2016 was when there was a change in her both in terms of ideology and voice.

It takes guts when mafia writes you off, make every attempt to write you off, emotionally pressurize you saying that your only choice is to back off or commit suicide, to label you all sorts of things. I think that phase brought out a side where she no longer cared and that fear of losing was gone.

I think by that time, she was financially secure, her communication skills improved, her ideology changed and she had a strong voice with family-supporting her which matters a lot when you fight back.

She is a flop actress-with only Manikarnika doing reasonable/moderate in the last few years. She also hit 30s, which traditionally has been decline-unless you are vidya Balan. She has burnt most bridges-even she must see the writing on the wall. I think either she is crazy or is working closely with someone in politics with the hope of a Rajya Sabha seat. In return she bashes Bollywood who traditionally have been left wing. You scratch my back, I scratch your back. Problem-things can go wrong and actors/actresses have never done well in politics-except in Tamilnadu and maybe Andhra Pradesh/Telengana. Even there their influence is waning. Maybe she wants to be the next mamta Bannerjee or Jayalalitha and move back to himachal as the Chief Minister.

She is gaining clout. She has political backing. She will direact/act/produce/sing another Manikarnika. She is like Sallu bhai , himesh reshamiya n msg baba. She doesn't need anyone. She will do everything

Casual audience are thinking of her as some kind of goddess. Right wing loves her for speaking favorably for right wing. And we all know nobody cares for the so called leftists of this country.

BW is a fickle industry where they worship the rising sun. So don't be surprised if six months later you have Kangu in a movie with Kjo producing it and Anurag Kashyap directing it.

Exactly. She is a one woman army. I’ve seen more supporters of Kangana than detractors or haters, online. That means something because online people have no filter. They rage attack anyone they dislike. Why and how are they sparing her? She doesn’t control the world. Bottom line is Kangana is liked by many for the same reason others dislike her. Nope. Online space and community is totally manipulated and bought with bots and trolls (see also- investigation with PC and DP). Also It's the lockdown and people are bored so they will engage for now. But the real barometer is, will people go out and watch her films because of this and make her the super duper star of all time? No they wont. Reason I know this time also it wont work is she has done this before. I remember watching Aap ki Adaalat with my jaw literally on the floor and people (including me) were swayed by her words and many were clapping and cheering. When it came to her film, it still bombed.

Right now this feels massive and yes she has done damage to Alia and Karan but after lockdown people WILL go out and watch whatever they want to and Kangana will still be treated as the fringe loon she always was. SSR's tragic and heartbreaking death is something people will move on from in time.

Of course the IT cell and her trolls will go on and on and on with their agenda (which now includes ISI and the Khans now btw) but after lockdown no one will pay attention. Because honestly? People have stuff like jobs, COVID, livelihoods etc and real life challenges to worry about. Everything apart from SSR's loss has been a self serving tamasha,
