Maybe it was a coincidence or Youtube algorithm I watched a clip from the movie today and realised how bad Jhanvi is at acting. I haven't seen her other work though.

The movie is so weird with so much unnecessary drama only added to make it look different from Sairat. A user above said that they should have killed the leads, but that's what happened in the movie Sairat, making the ending more gruesome to watch as their three year old kid walks away, his feet covered with his parents' blood, which if they had kept in the movie, log bolte, dekho ditto chaapa hai.

Is it true that when Jhanvi saw the movie Sairat, she said that she wants to act in something like this as a debutant? Had read a blind some time back.

it was Jhanvi's first movie plus later part was shot after Sridevi demise....

might be she improves in her later movies or will just fade away

Dhadak was a clean hit.

The film was surprisingly good, I saw it on TV last year and I didn't expect it to be good

The songs were good , Ishaan was amazing but Jhanvi is the one I really liked, I mean she has a long way to go her diction her hindi is not good but she has one quality that I see in very few actors and that is to emote through eyes. I think she has a lot of potential as an actress
