I just find it plain - well not able to find the right word but ..silly? - how some of his fans are still hung up over trying to prove how his next relationship was better because of more compatibility and how even his relationship with his best friend is somehow more .. well .. just more relevant because it has been there for a longer time - and this is never brought up in isolation, but always as some kind of indirect response to others who stick to mostly talking about his and Ankita's relationship. It is just weird.
I have personally never really felt antagonistic towards who he was dating later. Not saying that makes me less petty or whatever - but guess what I am trying to say is ... How can you be hung up in that kind of "shipper mindset" where you still can't let go of an opportunity to think the worst of an ex-gf of your fav celeb at the slightest given opportunity ? And are still hung up over trying to prove that one ex was more compatible than the other as a response to people who weren't even trying to compare any two women in the first place?
Dude I swear its like some people have scripts set up on their computer to find and alert them to any positive mention of Ankita with Sushant in the same sentence. So they can pop up and tell us all why she was the worst and other women were better. It's just ridiculous lol. I can be really petty and immature when I'm frustrated but the way they do it is nearly methodical. Like nobody will even be saying anything to them and they will pop up out of nowhere.
Also the compatibility thing was cracking me up. It made me think of the dialogue in Hera Pheri where if they both have glasses they must be brother-sister. 😆 If everything was so same-to-same they may as well be related then haan. Hadh hai.
The mental block that seems to exist is fascinating. However it ended, dude did not fake liking her for seven years straight... or did he? She must be very well practiced in kaala jaadoo and blackmailing to keep him in a trance for that long. And yes, do note, all blinds about Sushant were wrong and everyone around him was a leech and taking advantage of him. But all blinds about Ankita are correct and there is no smoke without fire and she only has friends because... well, nobody really knows why anyone likes her.
Oh and then the "milking the breakup" narrative is a great one too. She had one print interview where she spoke very much between the lines about how much she wanted to make it work, and otherwise didn't really respond to questions about him. Just the worst huh, sucked his soul while they were together and milked his name after it too... But then a couple minutes later these same people will go on a rampage against her for not speaking up and defending him. Hain?
Another new popular one is that she still lives in "his" house... and the moral of the story is crossed somewhere between being a golddigger / too stupid to realize he doesn't like her anymore / still obsessed. Because it isn't common at all around the world for a woman to keep the house after a divorce/breakup. Never seen it. And you already know she never paid a cent for anything, ever.
I don't know how their thought processes work, but like I said in a way it is fascinating lol.
I ended up watching some short interviews of her from this past year on youtube and the comments are, as you can guess, vile. I used to wonder "when will the hate end" but I guess recent events have given us the answer to the only time people will stop hating.
