Where is Kairav?

I skip scenes so not sure if I missed it. Where did Kairav disappear to?

Children under 10 aren't allowed to shoot under new rules for the time being so they can't show him.

They may reveal him to be in a camp, with a relative or somewhere later on to explain the absence.
