Can we talk about Sushant Singh Rajput in this scene?

Let me say this I have not seen Kai Po Che. I recently saw M.S Dhoni and Raabta. I like him as Mansoor but his character was quiet. I don't watch Bollywood movies as much as I use to. I used this scene to show Shraddha's growth as an actress. Then I thought to myself how much of an injustice I did to Sushant when he was the real show stealer. There was a freshness in his performance which has been missing from sometime now. I watched it during Christmas break to see what the director in Dangal had in store next. But it made me become a huge Sushant fan. I think the reason he fit this character so well, because he was studious himself so he related to the nerd part. He understood the struggles of the common man and how education and studies are the main paths to getting ahead. I honestly don't think any starkid could have matched the performance he gave. Sushant was a great actor...better than both Runs.

I even looved the scene in the begining wher he said " tu hai na' to his son while dropping him off to his moms place...

I felt he deserved at least an award for this movie. If not the filmfare or all the awards. No offense Gully Boy seemed to be heavily inspired from 8 mile. And no one can do more justice to the character then Eminem because it was his real life story.

Such a loss to the industry!

I thought he was a bit weak as older Anni. The prosthetics and the beard also made it awkward.It restricted his facial moments. I wish they would have just let him grow a natural beard and added some white strands instead of the weird makeup.

To each its own! But I felt he was brilliant ! I can’t think of a single actor who could have done the role better ! Weird makeup or not !

Ppl made fun of this because the make up so bad, but the actor under it is fantastic..!!
