One of my friends BIL were quarantined during SARS epidemic in China . He told us that the routine was similar and that they would meet friends. It was sort of like Hotel and were taken care of pretty nicely.

He was scared for US . He was the one who asked us to stock up having seen the difference between China and US in terms of facing any epidemics. Also, he is a doctor.

It's been a while since Mish came online. I hope she's doing well.
