Today's episode is the first post-lockdown episode I watched completely and I have to say today both Parth and Eri somewhat managed to create the old AnuPre magic though they were not in one frame. Eri has toned down a bit and is back to being her subtle self while Parth as usual did a marvelous job in that 2-mnt scene where Anurag unknowingly says sorry to Prerna from his heart, but immediately changes his expression and starts taunting Prerna as soon as he sees her facade falling. I watched that scene alone 3-4 times, to enjoy the ease with which Parth transformed himself from being the real soft Anu to putting up a facade of a ruthless Anu, without even giving us a chance to think that he is performing there with a BD. That is why our heart always goes with Anurag even when we know in our mind that Prerna is the one heavily wronged. The way Parth gets connected with his character and delivers it with variations according to the situations, keeping in mind the character with whom he is conversing is what really elevates his acting and helps him to rise above the script. All his scenes today, whether it be with Komo or CP or Prerna did give us different flavors of acting after a long long time. The first Bajaj track got me introduced to the acting calibre in him. Anu-Mohini jail scene, that lifeless posture with dead eyes when Anurag's back from hospital after getting to know Prerna’s betrayal, Anu's breakdown in the Swiss HM suite, that spine-chilling performance in Bajaj Mansion, the breaking down in front of Moloy after Prerna calls out Anu for playing with his life and informs him that she will always be Mrs. Bajaj.... These are some of the scenes that will always stay in my mind from the first Bajaj track and I hope the current Bajaj track too turns out to bring forth more of his acting prowess.
Coming to AnuPre, Bajaj might have managed to keep the flame of revenge alive in Prerna all these years. But, Anu is the only one who has the power to ignite it further so that he can engulf himself in it and at the same time have the power to pour water on it so that Prerna will be back to the his Prerna within no time. So, the narrative is still from Anurag's POV. That is what I understood from the above scene. Aage jaake it can change based on how successful EK will manage to establish the new Bajaj. 😊
