Sonu was technically more sound but Rafi saheb is the G.O.A.T. Veer Zaara was not the greatest. In fact it doesn't even sound like Madan Mohanji's tune. Compare Lag Ja Gale, Naina Barse Rim Jhim to VZ.

Waahiyaat seriously? It is a vulgar song only if you feel so. But waahiyaat is too derogatory a term.

Its about 2004 not 60's :) ... Veer Zara songs passed the test of time still are popular :) ... and yeah call it vulgar in english or wahiyaat in urdu its similar :) Language matters

Well I am positive they weren't Madan Mohan's songs. Maybe his son came up with them. All of YRF songs and films wherefore PR than quality. How could Yash Chopra go wrong?

They are madan mohans or not doesn't matter ,,,,they are classics now ... Tere leya hum hain jeye honthoon ko seyee, do pal ruka khwaboon ka karwaan , main yahan hoon yahan hoon ....be it by madan mahon or anyone else they are classics now after rafi era such songs would be remebered in a long run unlike those wet liploc songs 😉

MHN, Murder and Dhoom have aged better. YRF had a style and the PR to make everything to look larger than it is. I am glad we dont have to see that kind of superiority mess anymore when it comes to music.

I hardly hear any dhoom or murder songs on radio station or Channel haven't heard in a long time... VZ and MHN still get played :).. I remember murder also had that another song again copied from Pakistani singer the song was like kaho na kaboo... It isn't popular any more once it used to be.... infact none of murder song passed the test of time... Their watched time is also less in YouTube upload measurement compared to others mhn, veer zara, dhoom
