True but Indian government and public take the virus lot more seriously than Americans and American government. Pretty sure Karens wouldn’t wear masks themselves and not allow their kids to wear one either 🤢 .

I want your view on changes done by Trump administration to H1B visa and International Student visa.. Has these two moves really impacted Indian diaspora there?

I can’t tell yet about the international student visa thing right now it’s only Harvard and MIT that’s guaranteed to go completely online while others are trying to give hybrid options so that students are able to stay in US. If campuses decide to go completely online because of Corona spread in middle of semester than yeah students have to cancel their housing leases and be forced to return home( or be deported by ICE). This is one rule that’s going to affect a lot of international students . Also, it’s really hard to find a job right now after graduating and it’s even harder for International students . There are also speculations going on that Trump administration is going to try suspend opt which allowed international students to work after graduation . That is going to affect a lot of Desi students if it gets implemented 😔. H1B people right now seems doing ok but someone who got their H1B visa for first time and are in India aren’t going to be able to enter US till end of December .
