In the promo, we see Soham stealing some money from Asawari’s purse. Shubhra notices this and confronts Soham. She asks him why Soham is taking out money from the purse without letting Asawari know. Soham reminds her that Asawari is his mother and he’s free to have the money. Just then, Asawari enters and notices their fight. She gives a sly smile and says that she’s indeed a mother, but Shubhra’s and not Soham’s. Later, Asawari surprises everyone by declaring that she’ll be acting like a mother-in-law for Soham henceforth.

In all the serials - I hope they don't start all the new episodes with old flashbacks just to fill up the time 😆

I think this is just a gimmick to get all the viewers back. Ultimately they will show her wavering between her son and DIL to stretch the story. I remember a Hindi serial with Sayali Sanjeev and Jaya Prada (don't remember the name) which was promoted as MIL supporting DIL against son in the same way but ended up in the standard MIL Vs DIL faltugiri.
