TV Couples Who Ended Their Relationship After Being Together For Several Years
The couple, who tied the knot in 2004, is the latest to have decided to move on. Even though Maninee and Mihir are not divorced yet, they have been living separately for the past six months. While Maninee is in Mumbai with her daughter from her first marriage, Mihir has moved to Pune to live with his parents. Maninee told BT, “Marriage, like any other relationship, has its highs and lows. Yes, it’s true that Mihir and I have been living separately for six months. The reasons for our separation are too personal to be divulged. Also, I respect the sacredness and sanctity of our relationship. We gave it our best, but the outcome isn’t in our hands.”
Rithvik and Asha, who met on the sets of their show Pavitra Rishta, parted ways after being together for several years. The news of their split came out in April this year. A source close to the couple had shared with us that they were facing trouble in the relationship, so they decided to call it quits. Their closest friends were aware of the development. Rithvik apparently was living with Asha Negi but he has moved out of the house.
Following a courtship of several years, Sanjeeda Shaikh and Aamir Ali had tied the knot in 2012. Of late, things seemed to have turned around, and their differences have led them to live separately. A source told BT in January, "Differences started cropping up between them some time ago, but they were trying their best to not let it hamper their relationship. Matters escalated a few days after Sanjeeda returned from a shoot in London in October last year, and she left for her parental home. Though they continued to be in touch for some time after that, they stopped talking to each other over a month ago. Since the differences are a result of minor issues, we are hoping that they will reconcile."
The couple, who met on the sets of Maryada and became good friends, tied the knot in 2011. Seven years later, the two decided to call it quits and got divorced. The two were going through a rough patch for a long time, which even their friends knew about. Talking about the reason for their separation, Raqesh had told TOI, "Sometimes there is no reason. Over a period of seven years you get to know how someone fits into your life. So there is no specific reason that I can point out to. The vibes sometimes just don't work. We still love each other, it's just that the definition of love, in our case, has changed now."
Balika Vadhu's Anandi aka Toral Rasputra, who had tied the knot with Dhaval, a businessman, in 2012, ended her marriage of five years in 2017. It was due to compatibility issues between them. Sharing the news with BT, Toral had earlier confirmed, "Yes, we are divorced, but it’s been amicable. Despite trying out best, our marriage didn't work out. Things don't always turn out the way we expect. All said and done, luckily, we all are happy and peaceful now. Dhaval and I will always remain good friends."
The two actors met on the sets of Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki where they fell in love. They were married for fifteen years before compatibility issues creeped in. The two of them are reportedly not living together. They share a teenage son.
Juhi Parmar and Sachin Shroff, who tied the knot in February 2009, separated after being married for almost a decade. The two were granted a divorce in July 2018, and their daughter Samairra's custody (born on Jan 27, 2013) was given to Juhi.
Roadies fame Raghu Ram and Sugandha Garg parted ways after being married for ten long years. They officially got divorced in 2018. Raghu Ram is now married to singer Natalie Di Luccio. They were blessed with a son, Rythm, this January.
Sangeitha Chauhan had a love marriage with Chirag Shah but the news was kept hush-hush for eight long years. The actress has now moved on and got married to Sasural Simar Ka actor Maniesh Raisingh on June 30.
