There are few things about the current hate wave that is going on against the nepo kids especially Kjo & Alia that i don't understand. I mean i get why the hate , though i don't support it but i get it why, so i am not against it as well but what i don't understand is that is this hatred because people truly don't like Kjo supporting star kids or is it because he is not casting their favs.

I mean on one hand everybody is hating on him without any limit and on the other hand after hating on him so much they also want him to spend his hard earned money to cast outsiders and give opportunities to those whom they think are worthy. This is what truly don't understand .Its like you hate on a person but then also want that person to spend his own money let me repeat it his own money the way you want to. How does that work? I get the hate on KJO but this wishing and wanting that after this hate he starts casting outsiders or whomever they think are worthy is like😆. No one should be or can be forced to spend their own money the way other's like it. KJO can and should spend it the way he likes it just like public can spend the money the way they like by not watching his movie. But this trend of hating on him and also wishing he starts casting actors other than his favs and spends his own money on who other's think as worthy is quiet hypocritical as per me.

So he starts casting who are not his favs and the movie is a box office flop. Will the people hating on him reimburse him? After all they are not the one investing in the movie he is. So if it becomes a flop will people reimburse him? not sure how this is going to work.Hating on a person and then expecting the same person to invest in your favs is not logical.

I don't think anyone is asking him to stop casting his favorites or star kids. The main point that is being made here, in my opinion, is for him and his mafia-like coterie to stop snatching projects or arm twisting other filmmakers into providing good roles on a platter to his favorites - do not even ask me for examples for there are plenty of admissions that have come straight from the horse's mouth. Asking for a level playing field and the same kind of acknowledgement and validation that some films of these star kids get isn't asking for very much. Also, the fact that in this case someone was systematically trying to break Sushant's spirit through those nasty blinds and PR campaigns. Now we do not know as yet if Karan was directly involved in this, but he has certainly contributed to this toxic gossip culture in Bollywood to a huge extent and has often times made it sound like something he is very proud of indulging in with the likes of Kareena, Ranbir. He has normalized shaming people on national tv via his bullshit chat show. Asking him to stop doing his is not an unfair demand by the public especially when we know that Sushant was very affected by the things that were being said and written about him - please watch Abhishek Kapoor's interview if you want the source for this.

People are angry because a young, sensitive, and a genuinely nice man filled with talent has been snuffed out in such a horrible way. We don't yet know the official reason for his depression, but the environmental factors play a huge huge role in making it worse. No body in this world deserves to be in a workplace like Bollywood where every ounce of life and energy are sucked out of a person, and those playing gods in a culture like this deserve to be called out.

Often times, a lot of people cannot articulate their point of views well, they therefore resort to abuse or hate to make their point which unfortunately gets picked up by the person to play the victim card against whom one is trying to say something. In the sea of abuse, there have been many discussions and tweets that have sensibly addressed this issue and pointed out the problems that exist in the toxic industry of Bollywood. Unfortunately, this part is completely overlooked because phir victimhood wale articles kaise likhe jayenge?

The problem is him snatching projects and dirty gossiping/politics/PR. Rest is it’s his money and he can do whatever wants

But I do think that other culprits like Aditya Chopra, Bhushan , Sajid Nadiawala have got off scot-free due to everyone targeting Karan

Blessed are those who ask such questions. People thinking their entitled to Karans money is wild

Project snatching always was there (numerous examples in 80s and 90s)

People wanting to ruin other people’s reputation always was there ( Vivek Oberoi went after my Bhai 😞)

But Karan created these 🤔

Salman Khan's dad went to one of the Sippys (Big producers from the 80s) to ask him to announce a fake movie starring Salman. It was after Maine Pyaar Kiya and producers were not offering Salman movies thinking romantic heroes had no future. That announcement helped them fool some other producers and Salman started getting offers from the mid level to chote mote producers. Now compare that story with today's story.

FYI that anecdote... Salim Khan himself shared that story.

I find Alia good-looking, and also like her work (Highway, Udata Punjab, Dulhania series, Raazi).

I also love Ranveer's work (in all his movies).

So I don't think this is about faves not getting work.

Also, importantly, it is NOT KJo's money. Producers usually borrow money from the financiers to make movies. So technically it is financier's money.

If KJo was making a personal project it would have been okay. But when money from corporations and financiers is involved, then you can't just put your coterie people in. The audience deserves that the director be free enough to choose anyone they feel is best for the role without external pressures.

We are finding out people like KJo have been exerting pressure directly/indirectly to replace the director's pick with their chaheta/chaheti laadala/laadali. The pressure includes arm twisting, dirty games, PR tactics that include planting slanderous blinds/articles on chief contenders.

At least for me, that is where the outrage is stemming from.

See media manipulation is long done practice. I doubt Karan invented 😆
