I can safely say Tripti Dimri, Alaya F., Sanya Malhotra and Mrunal Thakur are the future of BW. 4 incredible talented young women, age is also on their side.

For anyone in Alia’s generation - the moment is over. People like Kirti, Kiara, Bhumi, Shraddha, Parineeti, Disha, Taapsee, Sonakshi, Vaani Kapoor - it’s not going to happen. Every actress has a window of time where they need to surge into top actress status and they’ve been around too long now to do it. Sadly no one has been able to do that. They’ll always live in Alia’s shadow. Whether Alia did it by hook or crook is another topic but the point is that she did.

We must look at the new girls now.... Janhvi, Sara, Ananya, Tara, .... maybe Tripti. Manushi is debuting as well. Someone from this lot will be the next big thing. It’s too late for the previous girls.

I’ll agree that she has overshadowed her contemporaries as of now but it’s not about how quick you reach the top really, it’s about how long you last. Alia has reached the top way faster than her contemporaries and she may be the only one in her gen, but longetivity will be the real question for any actress no matter When they debuted. She can reach the top, but if taapsee is lasting longer into the 30’s with success, that’s where the real success is and stardom becomes noticeable as it is much harder to maintain success than to reach the top through privelege and short term tactics. Even the new generation of girls, you can’t predict them to be successful necessarily just because their new. Success is based on box office much more than talent now days. If kriti sanon is Delivering hits at 35 and alia isn’t at the age of 31-32 than she is overshadowing her period. they all fall into the same age bracket. All these actresses are within 10 years of each other. They will all be pitied together regardless of how long they have been around. So I disagree.
