If you know before we give flu vaccine we have to ask few questions like any egg allergies , preexisting fever, history of any neurological disorders like guillian - barre as it can be very dangerous

Though we can recommend recombinant Flu vaccine with egg allergies above 18

Only scientists and physicians know how rigorous n tedious Process it is and possible adverse reactions.

so its better to wait than to rush. In medicine 1st oath we take is Do no Harm then rest.

rotavirus vaccine is a routine immunisation schedule for infants here in usa.
i remember in india during my med school time rotavirus, mmr , hepatitis a, pcv were not routine vaccines for kids in india.
Since mmr is live vaccine we cannot give in immunocompromised individuals like scid, hiv etc

Yes it is too fast to find if vaccine can be used for mass immunisation. Safety and efficacy of vaccine without adequate time is concerning.

My guess is they know it is not possible to meet that deadline but probably they want to keep the notorious system under pressure or if they announce a 12 month period they may not start work at trials at all.

Hope that doesn't result in cooking up results to satisfy them.

As I guessed, the reason that I mentioned has just been clarified by ICMR:

"Just as red tape was not allowed to become a hindrance in the fast track approval of new indigenous testing kits or for introducing in the Indian market potential COVID-19 related drugs, the indigenous vaccine development process has also been sought to be insulated from slow file movement. The aim is to complete these phases at the earliest, so that population-based trials for efficacy could be initiated without delay," it said.

"ICMR's process is exactly in accordance with the globally accepted norms to fast-track the vaccine development for diseases of pandemic potential wherein human and animal trials can continue in parallel," the agency said.

The vaccine trials will be done following the best practices and rigour, and will be reviewed, as required, by a Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB), ICMR said."

As u know every virus mutates spontaneously with passing time and so becomes difficult to treat as compared to bacteria which respond to specific antibiotics so now the report says that corona virus has now mutated again to make it more infectious but less potent. So this explains rapid spread but not as lethal.
