What a shit show this year has been. There will be noone else who can mount a song like saroj ji did the way she kept the grace intact. Also the way she used to judge on dance shows better than any other judge who strictly judged the dance and less gimmicks. RIP

I'm mostly numb to what is happening in this year now. No point expecting it to get any better anytime soon. There is just so much death on a mass scale all around the world....I don't know why everyone keeps saying they hate this year....hating the year won't change the truth and finality of death.

But word about Saroj Khan....she was the quintessential Godmother of dance, choreography and body language in pretty much every bollywood song from the 80s onwards. One can't imagine anything iconic in contemporary Bollywood without her infusion of adaa into it. She probably MADE most of the iconic heroines from the 80s and 90s with the way she set up choreography. It's definitely a huge loss because there is no natural successor to the way she built up songs.

Yes, there's Farah, Vaibhavi who are good....Remo mostly does stylized stuff. But I don't know if the Saroj Khan brand of choreography and ability to present songs so iconically has passed on into the next generation. Well, to be fair, songs mostly suck nowadays too. Anyways, time will tell. May she RIP.

i've recently discovered this video i mean i knew the song before but just never knew how it looked like and now am kinda super amused by it. the super loud glittery blue wig but both of them looking super Good in this and the song is just lovely. Her eye makeup is so beautiful too
