Well they haven't created any system for identifying/recruiting talent and then give excuses "we took 1000 auditions and selected Alia Bhatt"

Even when/if they hold auditions, people don't believe it if an insider gets cast.

It will never happen.

Movie making is a private business where auditions or interviews happens behind the wall. I have a feeling most of the star kids would selected secretly and only the news of shooting will appear randomly in social media one day.

The over hyped actors will again cry buckets for losing roles.

If it is someone's personal money to invest, then he can decide whom they want to cast. If they want an audition, they can hold an audition, if they want to cast their child, they can cast their child. No one can ask them to hold an audition.

Auditions, I agree, is a great leveling field. But I don't think they would work in Bollywood. Too many agendas and pre-conceived biases at play.

People who want to enter movies are desperate. They are themselves ready for casting couch and affairs. When the big boss feels they are not worth it, they get pissed and cry nepotism for rejection.
