Really? They claim to be zero cholesterol? Could be because usually there is a certain threshold of fat or cholesterol beyond which they can't be considered zero.

That is how many products get away with that claim here.

If they claim it, it might be true. Do you think that Britannia, ITC etc. will sit quietly when such claims are being made? They surely would have gone to some Indian/foreign Labs to get them tested and publicise any adverse reports.

Some of their biscuits which I have tasted, taste like yuck. So, this weird taste could be a consequence of zero cholesterol.

Yeah their biscuits taste weird n way to more sweet for my tastebuds

I went to supermarket nearby my home n saw chitale's tomato sauce for the first time and bought it too. It's good that they are exploring in other food departments too 😃

The source of the tomato sauce could be same as that of Kisan and others. We have Chitale dahi, gulab jamun mix and so many other products in Mumbai. It has now become a sort of franchisee and even their famous mango burfis / bakarwadi may be made by various sources. They want to expand fast and this is the only way IMO.
