What struck me the most was the before and after in Bullbul's demeanor.....she is soft, innocent initially....and then the confidence that comes into her eyes and demeanor as she is reborn in a sense....you can call it the "wisdom" of seeing too many horrors ki duniya ka sach saaf saaf dikhne lagta hai.....that is what shows in the way she tackles the jealous SIL later too and puts her in her place ever so subtly with just the look in her eyes.

Satya didn't directly brutalize Bullbul but his cowardice ultimately played a part in her pain and brutalization.....the cowardice of never standing up for her when she needed him...which is why they had to show him being the one who ultimately ends her life even if he did it unknowingly.....that was meant to be his punishment for failing her.

Good point about the Thakur....he himself was having an affair with his SIL but his ego was challenged when he thought Satya-Bullbul were having an affair.....and the irony is that it was a totally innocent friendship....yes, clearly Bullbul was in love with Satya but their affection was very innocent....he was the only one who gave her companionship but even that was too much the Thakur's ego to bear since he only wanted his wife completely submissive to him, without being allowed to have any joy for herself. In a dreary child marriage imposed on her....the fact that she was married off to some 30 year old guy when she was barely 5 or 6 herself and then she only had one childhood companion/friend in the form of Satya to give her solace but even that was snatched away from her. It's all a metaphor for society always wanting to cage a woman's desires in every form.

Re: the feet....he didn't just break them...he mutilated them....when the doctor was tending to her wounds, they showed him pulling out pieces of her broken payal embedded inside her feet...that's how badly he mutilated her feet in his rage.

Exactly it wasn't like satya and bulbul did anything wrong she just had a friend in him someone she was being able to be herself with and that badi bhabhi played so dirty on poor bulbul in her jealousy.

I found the bichiiyan quiete intresting too that it's top bas main karo a woman. How it is true that men want ownership and treat their wives to be as some toy . It was gross when he married a girl younger than his baby brother too absolutly gross my heart went out to poor bulbul not quiete understanding what was happening with her yet kinda hoping that it's satya she got married too based on the age assumption.

I loved bulbul ki sarcastic chuckles and those cold looks tripti was so good in th0se parts

the sad part is they don't even got that right either🤔 matlab hormonal junta ka LLHH bhi kisi tarah ka feelz nahi deta ya excitement caz the actors playing them are sooooo boring and lame and just have zero chemistry and look disconnected. utna bhi dekhne laayak nahi hai koi show aajkal or maybe am just old now and this 3 month break has totally disconnected me

Star Plus' one of the most popular and loved shows Ishqbaaaz which first aired on 27th June 2016 marks 4 years today. The show which consisted of a stellar cast including the likes of Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chandna, Kunal Jaisingh, Shrenu Parikh, Leenesh Mattoo and Mansi Srivastava was a huge hit amongst the viewers. Even though the show went off air in 2019, it is still fresh in the audience's mind and the fans still love the refreshing bond of the 'Oberoi brothers'.

SC ka post sounds like usko koi zabaradasti force kar raha ho to appreciate THE ONE show as she’s calling IB 😆.....short and to the point with a generic “best team” tag 😆.....I’m surprised she didn’t try to make it about her solo fans since she’s also had a tendency to make things about tagging “SCians”😆

Oh well, inse mujhe koi khaas expectation hai bhi nahin. Happy that they gave us Shivaay and Anika that live on as our happy pills :) And Happy 4 year anniversary to this show that we weirdly got hooked to for so long 🤣

Lol no it’s not just you yaar. Most of the new lot is quite mehh and doesn’t evoke any interest even for these cliched stories.

Maybe cuz we’ve already seen better stories and better actors, yeh lazily patched shows with blank faces don’t do much for us, but chalo if they are giving entertainment to others, good for them 🤷‍♀️😂

I also agree with you ki 3 months ke break ke baad definitely disconnect increases especially because yeh daily soaps ki stories anyways don’t flow in the way of a seasonal show.

Arre mujhe toh yaad bhi nahi tha ke aaj iski anniversary hai mujhe toh iss article se hi pata chala toh expectations kya honi thi bas bura laga ke yeh ab bhi group main hi chal rahe hain and I think woh instinctive hai. I've seen years and years of family drama shows (I mean we've recently saw LTL AGAIN I've been watching PR jisme har ek character ke apne separate tracks thay at all times lambe lambe) but never felt this repulsed by the extras(actually despite the ups and downs kabhi extras wali feeling aayi hi nahi thi from supporting cast) inho ne yeh ehsaas lagaya and jee bhar ke khoon jalaya hai I never felt that for others so woh ek naturally bad taste aata hai inko dekh ke woh nahi jaayega mera they have ruined the real original IB experience to that extent. Matlab 10 saal baad bhi I can watch these shows with the extended cast enjoy their twists and turns in between skipping but yeh log toh ek jhalak main hi goli maarne ka mann karta hai Khair🤷‍♀️ Mera ho gaya bas nikal gayi bhadhaas😆

But good to see NM tagging each and everyone from s1 down to that 2 episodes wali fake biwi of his tanya I think was her name🤣🤣 Bade dil wale NM ka Bada dil at full display 😆 meanwhile SC ne gunpoint pe post banaya as you said jaise kisi ne force hi kia ho 😆 but chalo koi na maan lete gain it was "THE ONE' SC now you can go back to your onion lady posts😆

Actually both him and SC sound 'moved on' from IB for now....until someone PAYS them to promote it together as Shivika....then watch them suddenly discover enthusiasm for it and possibly Shivika again😆
