I don't bother myself about ratings. Many good dramas are flops. And frankly I don't even care about good dramas. All I care about is the chemistry between the leads.😆

Yes . I knew about Shaz. He must be busy in the USA writing, directing and acting in movies. He is a multi talented guy. I like his style of acting.😎 Babar Khan I only watched him in one drama A Plus' Lamhe . He didn't leave a lasting impression on me.😳

I am like you. Initially when I first started Pakistani serials, I was annoyed when my favorite ones were not getting good TRP, as I'm used to my favorite Indian shows getting top TRP (Kumkum Bhagya, Yeh Rishta, Qubool Hai, etc.). However later I realized that the Pakistani rating system is to very limited homes, so it's not a indicator of popularity. And also, everyone has different taste too. Here in America, most houses watch HUM World as they find the quality of Hum content to be better. In Pakistan, Geo tops instead .

I don't understand TRP system at all. We aren't used to it here in Arab countries. And I didn't watch any of the top rated Indian dramas, because of those so called twists and turns, and because they keep running for years.😵 I watched only few of Indian dailies and that too not for more than a year for each. I get bored very soon.😃

TRP is kind of a useless metric for the way Pakistani dramas are set up. The dramas have a limited number of episodes and have been mostly shot at the time of airing. Generally ratings are important for western (and Indian, I assume) dramas where how long a series lasts depends on the number of people watching.

I think the Pakistani TRP system is basically made up by the channels to show up the competition. Basically the same thing as when the news channels go "and this is brought first and exclusively by our channel !!!"
