This is true. I think people are forgetting that Ranveer was extremely hated in the beginning. There was a time the elite group didn’t even acknowledge his existence. I’m actually pretty sure that they still don’t like him and are only tolerating him because of his success.

Ranveer became a bigger star when he started doing well outside of SLB movies. Like Gully Boy and Simmba. Yes he was signed to YRF but so was Sushant.

i remember reading nasty articles about Ranveer, post BBB, how his excitement level is too much, he needs to tone it down.....and how all the actresses avoid him and try to stay away etc....pretty sure those wouldnt have been printed had he been an insider and a father who coughs up crores to produce a movie......

Agree someone could not bear his sucess. And someone else was pissed knowing Deepika had an affair with him.
