MAMI is supposed to be about films from all over the world. The past few years KJo has used it as a means to prop up and promote Alia or his other favorites. Even if we take his favorites angle out of it, him having RK or Alia or Bebo on the panels implies that the Hindi film industry is about them. It does a huge disservice to all the other great artists who contribute to Hindi cinema. MAMI is supposed to be an International festival. Imagine letting the world cinema believe that Kareena or Alia are the great contributors to Hindi films so much so that one of them has to be present on a panel regularly.

Another reason for everyone’s “whatever” reactions is the headline of this article. Assuming it’s true, KJo is basically quitting a responsibility because no one was nice to him. It’s petty and juvenile. When his official statement comes out I hope he claims being busy or something along those lines as his official reason.

The only person who is in a position to help him is Akshay Kumar. They've both been sucking up to each other and wooing bhakts and done many recent projects and have one up for release - Suryavanshi. But I guess he learned the tough lesson that Akshay doesn't help anyone other than himself.

The nepo babies owe him but they can't say anything. If they talk, it will just make things even worse. But people like Soni Razdan have tried their best.

He hasn't helped anyone else that they will jump into the fire for him. Salman is already being attacked as it is.

Did he wanted some sort of support from US? By releasing such sob story.
