What about Gujarat? The state is also worst just like delhi and Maharashtra.

Please keep in mind that delhi is a UT. And moreover congested.

So, the cases will rise rapidly when you have many people living in small apartments and rooms.

Also, recently I have seen the barricades that delhi police has put for even a small area. But nothing can be done if people are careless beyond limits.

Governments can only give you provision.

People will have to use their own common sense to get themselves out of this situation.

No you are not interrupting. We all are meant to talk here and discuss. But we can't blame Tabby for what she is feeling. The only good thing is that they are testing in great numbers but we can't deny that the situation is really very bad there. What all she is saying is true.

You can't really compare Gujarat with Delhi when Gujarat has 26k+ cases with 6cr population while Delhi has 53k+ cases with just 1 cr population along with the fact that it is a national capital and one of the most frequently commuted place. Maharastra crossed 1.24 lakhs+ but again its one of the most frequently commuted place which has 3 major containtment zones-Mumbai, Thane District and Pune. I live in Thane District of Maharatra. The city I live has 2100+ cases. But good thing is Maharastra has crossed 7 lakhs tests. Initially from population-size-wise, Mumbai seemed to be worst hit due to very big case numbers and Delhi was better in comparison. But from 2 weeks I don't know why cases in Delhi is increasing drastically. Something is really very wrong there. By numbers, of course its increasing most in Maharashtra but by population-size-wise and state-size-wise its clearly Delhi where its increasing the most. I myself have a paternal relative family in Delhi so we also know a little that situation there is very bad. People commuting to work in NCR areas from different areas is also one of the reasons.

But something needs to be done of Northern States like UP, Bihar and Eastern States like West Bengal. These states are highly populated especially UP which has the largest population in India. Then why these states have very less cases. Either they are hiding the numbers or not testing properly. I am not ready to believe that UP has only 17k+ cases, Bihar only 7.5+, WB only 13.5+ cases which are much less than Western and Southern states. Like kise bewakoof bana rahe hai? Khud ke state ko better dikhaane ke liye kuch bhi. Because of their hiding numbers or less testing when Western and Southern states will be nearly corona free then cases in these states will start increasing more which will cause problems.

You are from which place? What's the condition there? Be safe and take care.

I am from Delhi and some places in delhi are so congested that the infection rate goes much higher.

I have been to the places which are red zone in delhi and if you have four - five people living in a small room, you can calculate the risk yourself.

That's delhi for you.

Well as far as I know, SC has ordered delhi to increase the testing and it is now being done for each and every suspect.

I think they are going to do test for every individual in containment zone.

I can't comment on other states as the govt is trying it's best. My relatives live in UP and there has been a total lockdown till now.

The testing needs to be increased for sure but primarily, I believe that individual need to be cautious.

suhaana u r not interrupting but tell me the use of barricades when all areas are opened ..

Come to South Delhi and see how much barricating is there ..

The area near which I live was at number one in corona cases tab barricating nahi Hua toh ab Kya hoga ..

Testing increase started from 20 June by central government not by state ...

People r careless that I totally agree but on other side they too have their own needs ..how they r going to earn

I know what you are saying but is it govt's fault that this pandemic is creating havoc, it's not only India but entire world is in a panic state because of this.

The areas I know have strict barricades and if they don't isolate the place how are they going to contain the virus. And those areas are closed.

Delhi is very small in area and large in population. That is the reason of wide spread virus. Also, it is kind of junction for all national and international ppl. So, it's natural that it will have problem more than any other state.

Also, regarding ppl earning govt can't provide food for all. Three months it has done, markets and businesses needs to be open for cash flow. But tell me is there any need for ppl who have no business to roam in the streets.

This pandemic can't be contained mainly by govt, strict joint effort is needed from public and govt.

Carelessness will kill millions without saying anything. It's high time ppl should know the value of their own life.

Regards hospitals and all

Everyone knows even before the pandemic

That India doesn't have adequate supplies for the massive population it holds. People know this, so do u think 2-3 months is enough to make enough preparation.

Please don't think that I am in support of any government or leader. It's just that it's high time that indians should know the downsides of having large population which is a threat.

As per the ground reports I have seen, Delhi's slum areas have been infected as well and that can be a reason for cases going up rapidly.

Also I have seen that ppl who are corona positive are down right mental. Heard that one of that individual is out of his apartment, roaming on roads with his dog.

As a result three deaths were already witnessed in the same building where the cause of is roaming freely.

Delhi police is now guarding such idiots.

Don't know why govt can't give orders to kill such suspects first.

These ppl are actual reason that infection rate is higher.

Take care of yourself. Now Delhi's condition is getting worse than Maharashtra. People really may be careless for going out unnecessarily that also without masks and not maintaining social distance.

Even I have many relatives in UP. There may be lockdown. But how many are actually following it? My relatives talk to parents saying how people roams on streets. Some of my own relatives go here and there without reason roaming on streets or meeting someone. Long ago they used to give testing number lists where Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu were among doing most tests but UP, Bihar, West Bengal were among doing lowest tests. Now test numbers lists are not found. I think its still the same. Just hope these states don't create problems when Maharashtra, Delhi, TN has improved a lot.
