This guy could’ve told us these things when they happened

Yrf has been harming Ranveer's career by giving him all bad movies and he has never been given any big movies. While starkids have been given all the big projects of Yrf. At this point I am convinced they are trying to sabotage his career. It's better for Ranveer to reject subpar movies offered to him by Yrf while the nepo kids are given all the plum projects😡

i mean that's not really accurate. Befikre was supposed to be a huge thing. Aditya Chopra coming down off his throne to direct a movie again after years and years was supposed to be major thing. That it ended up being a disaster is besides the point.

Ranveer fans did not want Ranveer to work with yrf again after befikre, his fans had had enough of yrf, LVRB, gunday, kill dil and befikre are the weakest movies in his filmography. I just hope jayeshbai is a decent film coz if it isnt then Ranveer needs to have a serious chat with adi chopra about what he is doing, they have not been giving Ranveer their best projects. Ranveers best films have been outside of yrf

Adi Chopra knew he was taking a big risk directing a film like befikre, he said that in the letter he wrote about the film to his dad, it wasnt a conventional adi chopra film. And Ranveer is highly dedicated to adi chopra so adi knew he wouldn't say no to the film, I could tell from the promotions that Ranveer was only doing the film for adi Chopra, even if it meant the movie flopping, all Ranveer wanted to do was work with his mentor. After the film released, whenever anyone mentions befikre to Ranveer his reply shows that he doesnt like the film

Sure, Ranbir. Because he surely was powerful enough to raise awareness without losing his livelihood or destroying his life.

You are not even hiding your real identity anymore. Are you not tired of defending your nepo peers on every thread? It won’t work; the cat is out of the bag now and there’s no turning back. People are starting to talk and denounce the systemic injustice and harassment outsiders are a victim of. 2020 is going to be an iconic year.

Well obviously. Nobody likes disasters. He would have liked it just fine if it had worked at the box office. It doesn't change the fact that a movie directed by Aditya Chopra was supposed to be a big thing and anyone offered it would have signed it.

I mean im most concerned with SSR's death and what happened and what could have prevented it

True he wasn’t offered befikre. He wished they offered him after they shelved Paani but left YRF cause he didn’t get it. That’s why his PR team (rohini iyer) put rumours after he left YRF.

Just like Ram Leela his PR team should have blamed UTV and not YRF.

So much drama over such a flop movie like Befikre.

I also remember that SSR was the front runner for RL alongside Kareena. When he couldn't do it and RS got the part Kareena dropped because she didnt want to star alongside Ranveer because of some things he said.

I also didn't read anything about SSR being offered the others SLB's movies given to RS -which is normal because SLB cliqued with RS on RL's sets.

If people are looking out for the parts SSR missed because of nepotism, they should look out for movies which are less obvious.

Let's all remember for exemple how Ranbir snatched Bombay Velvet with a mere phone call from Ranveer who had let go of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag because of BV.

It's because RS had a free schedule ans SLB was in dire need to do his movie because his production house wasn't doing well at the time and that the top actors he favored before offeeing the part to SSR wouldn't do the movie that RS ended up doing Ram Leela.

More than starkids in front of the camera it's especially nepotism behind the scene that are harmful to the industry.

Directors and producers who will favor a starkid over an outsider because of the publicity... and so ultimately it's because of the public -who is so ensnared with starkids life and follow them eagerly on social media and this giving them validation- that nepotism reach its pinacle.

Why would people think Alia is any good and deserving as an actress will always go over my head. She doesn't look like a lead imo and isn't talented but people were saying that Karan snatching movies (eg. Katrina Kaif) from others was okay because she was able to pull off those roles.
