Which is the main reason they are doing it. For people to know.

Another could be how that shifts the action to the other person as well when they didn't do anything. Like we have the news Sonakshi unfollowed Shraddha, but if she did softblock her the news would they unfollowed each other so Shraddha could be badgered about it as well. But knowing how vain celebs are, it's probably the first one lol.

The third one... They don't know how to like few years ago on Twitter most celebs couldn't do basic things. But that's probably not it anymore considering its the age of social media managers.
