Watermelon rinds make good compost and are very good for plants. So after cutting the watermelon I cut it's rinds into very small parts and added them to the huge pot which has colocasia in it. My mother had earlier warned me to avoid watermelons seeds and I did but I missed some 3-4 seeds. While adding the rinds I saw that there were 3-4 seeds but I being the lazy me ignored them! Later it grew and had covered the surface of pot. (Colocaia need a some what flat surface and creepers too need it) It had some yellow flowers and then a really small baby watermelon😆 I happily went and told my mother that we were going to have our own watermelon😆 She was angry as well as shocked at my stupidity😆 The watermelon plant had inhibited the growth of colocasia😆 and the baby watermelon obviously wasn't going to grow as it needs more space. It didn't grow much and I at last had to remove it as my colocasia was suffering😆

I live in a building so am lucky on that case but to grow some plants I need huge pots many times which is troublesome😔

How did you refer about a small baby watermelon.............. I was like are you referring to a real human baby......

I know it's...so fast.....transition.........from cold to all hot........COVID loves us so much.......got stuck on us........no summer vacay......this year.....

Omg...I just checked the temp...It's 91 F (33 C) at my place. I know it's hotter in India but I can't even handle that 😆

LOL my dad is a workaholic so we don't go on vacations anyways 🤣 but we go on short weekend trips but we won't be able to do that either this summer 😭
