Yes, this show has great secondary characters. I think the only people who irritate me in this show are Ashish and his wife. They are so over the top and sometimes do that exaggerated acting. But I don't skip them because their parts always move the story.

I will reiterate that this show has great writing.

Oh yes. Ashish and Shirsha do get on my nerves at times. But they provide important details to the story, so that makes up for it. The writing is so good, no scene feels unnecessary. And if that is not a huge achievement for the writers....

Yeah.. The writing is so good that I'm scared you know. Like if something is too good, it is bound to not last. But I'm praying very hard that this show maintains it's standard. I have always wondered what makes a good show and when I see this one I know. A good show can create tension without making it's lead characters behave like idiots. The conflict is not due to the characters behaving in ways that normal people would never do. And I am so happy to finally see an ITV show get it right.

So true Aparna Di, I am praying so hard that they can maintain the quality of the show. This is a show that makes me have faith in ITV. The characters reach normal conclusions, they act like normal people, and it still complicates everything, just like our lives.

Also, I don't know about you, but I loved Agni's part in today's episode. It was realistic, and beautifully executed.

Either of them can fall first. There is a certain amount of attraction and curiosity at play, and both of them will definitely be appreciative of the other's good qualities, especially their soft nature when it comes to their families.

Agni....I don't think so, but Dhruba will definitely feel the guilt of ripping her out of her family, and they will both be in denial and pine for each other

Agni and Dhruba, I feel, will only be in the same team if it has to do with Tara. Agni would always care about her, and Dhruba will grow to care for her. He already does, on a subconscious level. He is a caring man by nature. Offering her handkerchiefs etc. His first reaction is to protect/comfort Tara.

Guilty indeed but he is also given her a family and Himself. His sister might not like Tara taking over the house bc today or tomorrow Tara will dhrubo’s everything

Dhruba even said, mockingly, I think, je Aaj theke Tara e barir sob. And she will definitely become everything for him, just like he and their family will become everything for her. She got a mother in that house, she got Mahi, and she already thinks that everyone is amazing, and she has always dreamt of a house like Lahiri Mansion. She will have people who would love her, support her, and most importantly, TRUST her.

But that would not resolve his guilt, unless she assures him that she has more than she had wished for, and she is happy .

I really like Mahi she is the kindest and cute also. The kids will melt and they will consider Tara their everything and support her even if they have to go against their dad. The MIL got a daughter who will listen to her and they have such an amazing rapport already.

guilty I want to see that and I want to see him distance himself from her when that guilt comes. When she will run behind him and confess then he has to be guilt free there is nothing he can bc if she wants him it’s her choice

Mahi is the best!! Dhruba's family is already so nice and welcoming, and not just to Tara. They have accepted Chandni too, and the only person who is not that nice is Ranja, but she too, shares a nice relationship with her family. Unlike the Choudhuris.

Yup, yup, yup!

It would be wonderful to see her run after him, convincing him that she loves him, she wants this relationship as much as he does.
