I have seen all three of them at work, and the only one who hasn't been a complete surprise is Tara. Her character is quite plain, like our ITV heroines. I hope, as the story progresses, as she learns the truth about Deepti's marriage and as she deals with her new life and the tangled relationships, we will get to see more layers in her character.
One thing that makes this show special is that all three main characters are intrigued by each other. Yes, the pull is mainly limited to Dhruba and Tara, but Agni, too, is curious about Dhruba, and although Dhruba thinks Agni is not a proper competitor, they interact quite a lot. There is a.....connection.
Making a mockery of marriage should be an out and out no, and if anything, the kalratri portion showed that they do intend on treating this marriage as a marriage. And, Tara never thought about going back.
She has her regrets, but it is a what if situation for her. What could have been.
Really looking forward to how they develop, and how they stay focused on their own goals, even while the equations keep changing from time to time.
You are right, they did show a certain amount of attraction and/or romantic moments between Dhruba-Tara even before the marriage and they keep doing that. The mall scene, the hand hold etc. That's new. And I must say, I LOVE this change.
Agni should always remain her best friend. That will put this show on a higher level. Tara doesn’t need to forget him to fall in love (and stay with) Dhruba and
histheir family.
I agree with Agni continuing to be her best friend. That'll indeed be something that has not been done before and it'll only add to the show's charm. The dynamic between the lead trio is definitely very engaging. There was a sort of respect from Dhrubo's side as welcomed Agni after he'd married Tara. As of he realised that he has come between the two of them and there will be no changing that. He allowed Agni to rant but then stepped in when Agni was about to hit Tara. Which just showed that he will not interfere between the friends as long as a line is not crossed. But that could be me reading too much into one scene.. 😅
I am also looking forward to the Anuja angle. What's this prophecy thing? Is Dhrubo gonna save Tara from a massive fire in the future? Are they setting up for that. Also could Anuja's death be a murder? People think he did her in. Why? What is the angle? Some many questions to be answered.
Also, is Chandni being physically abused by Roshan? I really find this sort of thing very distasteful and I'd really like Tara to put a stop to it if he is..
